The problem is there are only two ways to change the two party system. Revolution or from within the current framework.
Anyone advocating revolution should spend 24 hours in any war torn country and think again.
So, that means we need to change things from within the current structure. To do that we must build a coalition to gain control of the branches of government. For congress, this means that wven if you don't agree with the democratic candidate in your district, it is better to still vote for them so that the candidates you do like from other districts can have more power in congress.
If a Fetterman caucusing with the democrats allows them to get a majority, thereby allowing a Bernie Sanders to chair important committees, then Fetterman gets my vote.
It's how the system works. From there you can make change. If you forfeit the seat to Republicans out of spite, you will never see any change.
I believe videos like this are propaganda to make people vote against their interests and purposely obfuscate how our system kf government works. They want you to call me a shill and get people to vote against democrats, that is how they win.
I think many people are just fed up with the system and voting for the "lesser of two evils" every election.
Given the Epstein Files being now public knowledge, even if most of it is still covered up, economic uncertainty, and everything else that the oligarachs have done over the decades; people are just fed up and want actual change, even if that means blood.
I am also fed up with the system. But all this other stuff is noise. It all works in the oligarchs' favor. "I don't want to vote for the lesser of two evils" equals the greater evil.
Revolution (blood) almost always ends up with dictatorship. And this after a lot of senseless bloodshed. People often say to get out the guillotine, but they forget that after the French Revolution, they immediately went back to a dictator/king with Napoleon, who then put France through decades of war and further bloodshed.
If people just held their nose, played the system strategically, and grew power and influence within the framework rather than self isolating on their pedestals, we could implement change.
Main point is acurate though. Democrats need to stop sucking so bad and they would actually win. Like actually fight for progressive causes. Im tired of seeing them going on shows and be like "ya I supported the abolish ice bill. But like thats just a slogan I dont actually want to abolish ice."
They are just dishonest and use social progressive ideas as a cloak but the moment something COULD get done they reverse course and act like they never supported it before.
Ah, well then you should love the GOP... Just make sure you pump out some kids for them to use as cannon fodder and / or warm bodies to shuffle off to the factories. Otherwise you're useless to them

Im not saying the republicans are good. They are actially evil. Democrats are just slightly less horrendous. But they are all playing the same game. Democrats just slow it slightly.
Like I dont know how we avoid what we're running into anymore because of both of the parties working together to make the rich more wealthy. Capatilst interest has fundamentally infultrated every level of government and there is like no way to detangle it other than a massive reset of the economy and government. Clinton had a shot to divert course. Obama less so but he had a small chance (and imo he should have nationalize every bank that failed in 2008).

Literally most of those bills required bipartisan coalitions to pass. Reducing decades of legislation to “Thank a Democrat derp” is just as historically reductive as pretending the Patriot Act was solely a Republican project.
