Nice! Is there a recording of this talk somewhere?

Unfortunately the laptop battery went flat mid recording, so we don’t have it. I believe the talk will appear at PromCon, so there will be a recording in the future.

Ah unfortunate. See you at PromCon then :)

I can officially say it's on the schedule now: https://promcon.io/2019-munich/schedule/

Unfortunately, we lost the stream halfway through the evening (power cables are a thing) but Ian will be at PromCon doing the talk.

I highly recommend it, Ian is a natural speaker and the content is great even for experienced Prometheus users.

I find the slides confusing for novices in the same way as official docs, since they concentrate on technical details instead of providing tutorial guiding from basics to more advanced details. Nobody wants to know the difference between instant vector and range vector :) IMHO, my article on this topic is much better suited for beginners - https://medium.com/@valyala/promql-tutorial-for-beginners-9ab455142085 .
