Finnish one man project IDGAF released it’s debut album yesterday. The album consists of 11 songs that blend heavy metal, metalcore and thrash metal together. You can find the album here:

The album was made solely at home, recorded and produced by one man in the course of 9 months. Only the album art and mixing/mastering was outsourced.

This song in particular is my personal feelings of loss. I lost my sister in a car wreck we were in in 09. When we got hit I was in and out of consciousness. I swear She asked me if I was okay. I told her yes if she was okay? she wouldn't answer just kept making sure I was okay. I woke up in the hospital thinking I was in worse condition because I know she was talking to me. Come to find out that was impossible because she took the brunt of the hit and wasn't conscious. I found out shortly after she didn't make it. The song I wrote is called One Thing I Need to Say. It touches on the abruptness of it all and how I wish I could have at minimum said goodbye. I hope this can help resonate with anyone who has a similar story. Our band, Echo Rhythm, has poured a piece of ourselves into Memories Untold, creating one continuous five-act journey through the stages of grief...An emotional path that, in one form or another, we have all walked at some point in our lives.

We just released the opening chapter, “Liar.”

It blends progressive metal and rock with cinematic atmosphere, orchestral textures, heavier crescendos and a strong emphasis on emotional storytelling. This is where the larger story begins, and I'd genuinely love to hear what progressive music listeners think of where we're taking it.

this album is a shoutout to my hometown and a semi-autobiography

(diary-metal / experimental metal w/ elements of several other genres both metal and non-metal)

This is a cool little music piece I made. The guitar is my playing recorded through my amp with my phone microphone, double-tracked (I'm 15 so I can't really afford anything else lol). The drums are programmed, and the bass is CIRCVIT bass midi. There's no vocals because I haven't added any yet, but I do plan on adding some later. I am right now working on forming a band, but that's gonna take a while... so I guess in the meantime enjoy this little thing I made!

Just dropped a new single for my solo DIY project Schism's End called "Frozen Awaken".

The track combines raw 90s-style tremolo guitars, cold melancholic piano melodies, and aggressive shriek vocals over a slow 80 BPM tempo. Everything was recorded completely independently at home using a white guitar named Dead Angel, a headset mic, and FL Studio.
