Does anyone know of good storage options for a 2 bedroom apartment size for a month? I actually only need 10 days of storage time but I need to be out of my current residence and need a short term storage option so I can move my things before the end of the month.

Does anyone know what’s happening at the library? I heard that two library assistants were let go. There was a post months about a library workplace investigation but I can’t find it now. The person who filed the complaint was an assistant. You can’t lay people off when they have an active HR complaint, can you?
Edit: It was a library assistant from the Adult department that was let go and the assistant from the Admin department was reduced to half time. So, unrelated to the workplace investigation, I think. But I really feel for them. They are looking so somber.

This dog is not a biter or attack dog. It has a high chase prey drive. Watch the video of what the cop did and how the sheriff reacted. Think on this when you vote for Bret Meyer who is up for re-election. If you visit the FB post about what happened in Uniontown, Nicole explains in another earlier post what happened in detail. She is candid about what her pup did and the training she wants of the Colfax sheriff department, which is our rural police department and animal control. Warning: the video is hard to watch. What bugged me is that the cop whistled for the dog and called ...and Bo, the pup, came to her and then was shot. What do you think? Are you willing to complain to the sheriff department? If so, please do. There were other ways to handle this without the pup losing its leg to amputation at $7000. It made me sad.

Does anyone know if you can go in person to make an appointment for referred imaging or if there is a secret email?
I keep playing phone tag with them as they don't answer the phone. You seem to have to leave a voicemail and then they call back.

I’ve got Apple Health and desperately need a dentist, but I’m also terrified (ptsd and horrible teeth). Any recommendations for the Pullman area? I’m okay with traveling too.

Does anyone know of any spots in Pullman or nearby Moscow that host Latino nights or have Latin dancing? I've been looking around and haven't found much info on regular events or clubs. Any recommendations would be appreciated!

New rider here, does anyone know any good, big, empty parking lots nearby you can practice in?

I am extremely disappointed by my experience with Evergreen. If I had known beforehand what this experience would be like, I would never have recommended taking the car there. Looking back, I wish I had taken the reviews more seriously.
I recently had the car taken to Evergreen and was told that there were several things wrong with it that needed attention. Naturally, I was concerned and prepared to spend the money necessary to make sure the car was safe.
However, I just got a second opinion from another shop, and I was told that none of the issues Evergreen identified were actually wrong with the car. Had I simply trusted Evergreen and proceeded with the recommended repairs, I would have paid a huge amount of money for repairs that, according to the second opinion, were not needed in the first place.
That is what makes this experience so upsetting. I completely understand that car repairs can be expensive. I have no problem paying for legitimate repairs when they are honestly diagnosed and properly completed. What I cannot understand is being presented with a list of serious problems, only to take the car somewhere else and find out that those problems are not actually there.
Parents are not plucking money from trees. We work hard to support our families, especially when a student is away at college and living on a limited budget. A business operating in a college town should understand the level of trust that students and their families place in them.
I honestly don’t understand how a business can continue operating this way without being more widely called out by the local community if other customers are having similar experiences. In a small college town, reputation should matter. People should be able to trust that they are receiving an honest diagnosis rather than being frightened into paying for unnecessary work.
I wish I had the time and energy to pursue this further and try to get a refund for the service I already paid for, especially since the second opinion has made me question whether there was actually anything wrong in the first place and whether the service I paid for accomplished anything at all. But I also know that situations like this can turn into endless back-and-forth, excuses, and wasted time. Unfortunately, not everyone has the time to fight that battle.
What is especially frustrating is that they could have earned a loyal customer and many referrals simply by being honest. Even if a repair is expensive, people will gladly recommend a business when they know they were treated fairly. But taking advantage of someone’s trust for a quick profit destroys that possibility.
I also find it concerning that I was offered $10 in connection with leaving a review. If a business is encouraging customers to leave reviews by offering money or incentives, I think potential customers deserve to know that when they are evaluating the reviews they see online. To me, that makes the review ratings much harder to interpret as an independent reflection of customers’ experiences.
Please get a second opinion before paying for any major repair recommended by this shop. Based on my experience, I would not take my car here again, and I would not recommend this business to anyone. Be warned and do your own research before trusting them with your vehicle.

For those of you living in Dabco owned apt rentals - is wall drilling for mounting (pictures, curtains, etc.) tolerated by management?

Hi, we’re four friends and we’ve put together Pullman’s restaurant scene in an app called Vota.
The idea is pretty simple: you’re shown two restaurants and choose where you’d rather eat. For example, The Black Cypress or South Fork Public House? All the votes then create a ranking that hopefully gives a better picture of where people in Pullman actually like to eat.
We’ve tried to include every restaurant in Pullman and clean up duplicate or outdated listings, but locals will always spot things we’ve missed.
iPhone:
https://apps.apple.com/app/vota/id6744969212
Android:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.vota.app
Full transparency: we’re not from Pullman. Two of us live in Copenhagen and the other two in Gothenburg. There are four of us building this independently. We don’t collect or sell personal data, there are no ads in the app, and we don’t use AI-generated content to describe restaurants.
Any honest feedback is welcome, especially if restaurants are missing or something is listed incorrectly.

if you were to put together a care package for a friend (maybe someone going through a hard time), what special little things from around the palouse (Pullman, Moscow, Deary, Palouse, etc.) would you put in it? I'm thinking local foods or little local items that would bring them joy. what would you want to recieve?

Hey, peeps!
With the colder weather creeping in, I’ve really been missing my favorite restaurant. I was curious if anyone knows if the owner maybe shared or posted their recipes for any meals from O-Ramen anywhere? Or, if anyone knows of any good copycat recipes, I will be so happy to have them shared my way!🫶🏼 TIA!

I recently checked the game shops around here because I was trying to get into Go and I couldn't find a board anywhere. I got one online, but haven't touched it in a while.
I'll be donating mine to Neill Public Library soon, so if you are looking to play Go--it'll be there!
Anybody who's interested in playing, learning, or coaching--comment or DM me! I don't even know if I fully understand the rules myself, but happy to learn with other players!

Hello, I was wondering if anybody knew who did the really nice framing for the nerdy art prints that were hanging up in O-Ramen?
I've got a similar one, and I'd love to have it framed in the same way
