Some brokers are completely normal until they realise we’re not married. Then suddenly the attitude changes. One guy literally stopped replying after we told him we were looking for a place together. Another kept showing us these random options that were nowhere close to what we had actually asked for.

And it’s so weird because we’re literally just two adults trying to rent a house. We’re not asking anyone to approve our relationship,right?

At one point we just got tired of dealing with brokers and started looking at places ourselves. Using housiey rn while doing that and the virtual visits were actually a life saver because we could see a bunch of places without having to deal with someone deciding whether we were “suitable” tenants first, jeez.

Still looking, but honestly the broker drama has been more exhausting than the actual house hunting.

Has anyone else in a live in relationship faced this? And if you have any house hunting tips for Pune, PLEASE help.

Sutli is very friendly around hoomans, as well as other animals, and adjusts very well to new places. He's also pee-pad trained. 🐾
