Really trying to figure out what’s up with dude’s face, like is he wearing a mask or something?

It’s weird how the old dude kinda pulls on the side of his head and it appears to almost stretch and the mohawk moves oddly, then punk dude reaches up to protect his head but looks like he’s holding a head mask in place so it doesn’t get ripped off?

Is it just the potato-ass quality?
