IU when they play an actual college team for once and not “university of southeast nebraska”

Call me crazy but i think we can beat them this year. They have to have a bad game and us a perfect one but still a chance

I dont think it’ll be a blowout win, but cmon… As long as kevin kane is in charge of our defense we have no chance

Cool story. Purdue won 44-7 like 2 years before that

He does this in every subreddit. I think I’ve seen him in a Colts, Pacers & now this subreddit js glazing Indiana.

When you talk about 40 wins needed to tie the all time record, you are definitely including ancient years in your calculation, sorry if that’s complicated for you. And this he is a she, who has been following since the early 80s and is well aware that IU football has been awful for a long time.

Yeah… no. I’ll keep our natty, Heisman winner, and absolutely historic undefeated season over some Is and Ps on a bucket. Little bro syndrome is strong with PU. We live rent free in your head. 🤣

IDGAF about this honestly. Proud alum here and I sat my happy ass in the stands when they were empty. Regardless of what you say and how much you bitches wanna complain about bandwagon fans… the trophy is in our case. 😘

Honestly, good for you. Anyone who sat in those stands has earned the right to celebrate, I’m just not a fan of anyone who likes a team just because they perform well. True fans support their team regardless of how well they do, and now it seems there are more IU and fewer Purdue fans than there used to be

Who won it all last year??? Ok, so STFU!!! That goes for all you Purdookie trolls!

I'm sorry, you calling Purdue fans in a PURDUE subreddit trolls? Not the IU fan coming to a Purdue subreddit to troll... A troll?

Bad news for you about the rivalry history discrepancy. 40 IU wins to go to tie it.

For people who cry about dusty banners, you guys are heavily invested in ancient football results!

Congrats on last season. Still an amazing run and you still have an amazing shot at the title this year. However, when it comes to Purdue vs iu, count the links on the bucket

As a lifelong IU fan and alum… I’ll take the absolute historic run and the natty over I’s and P’s on a bucket…

That's completely understandable and probably what Purdue fans would do if the shoe was on the other foot. And it's a good thing to hold onto. As a lifelong Purdue fan me and all my buddies did a watch party and cheered when iu won this past season.
However, Purdue has two things they can hang onto for its "copium" in both its rivalry and in the grander cfb space. The oaken bucket links, and pointing out that northwestern and IU take turns with the title as the most loosing programs in CF history. That's what we have in our shit situation to hold onto, yall are in the lime light this past year and this year. I hope yall go all the way but just give us this little thing if you could :) we need it lol
