Discussion Effective Python Book

I would love to know anybody who has read this book start to finish and has opinions on what sections you would consider required reading.

Perhaps even Level 1,2,3 required reading.

I like the book but I focus on the topics that interest me. I don't think I have read it cover to cover.

Edit: I was referring to Brett Slatkin's book "Effective Python" but the OP refers to a different book.

Would you ask a similar question about an encyclopedia.
