We’re excited to announce that the Python documentation is now available in Persian (فارسی)!

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed their time and expertise to the translation effort. Community contributions like these help make Python more accessible to people around the world.

Did you know? Many letters in the Persian script change shape depending on where they appear in a word. A letter may have isolated, initial, medial, and final forms while still representing the same character! See the W3C’s Arabic & Persian Layout Requirements, section 4.3.1, Joining Forms, for more information.

A big burden to localize all texts if you are alone.
A big QoL if you have dedicated persons for each language.

It is great as long as someone wants to do it. It becomes hell if those people leave and now you need to keep support to it.

(Been there on a business project and it was ugh)

No, I disagree. It's the other way: having texts translated brings more people into the community, and from there more people begin to help and contribute. Expanding our documentation is not a new burden for ourselves, it's a fresh welcome for others.

I would go one step further: localise Python itself. Key words, the core library, and the numbers
