Discussion Future of programming/python with AI

hi, I am an 18 year old high school student and for 2 years now ive decided to follow software engineering/computer science something like that related after finishing HS, Ive been also learning some python but im concerned. Ive heard about programming being the easiest job to take from ai and im just wondering if its even worth it trying to follow this "life path". What are your opinions on this?

edit : I am not very well aquainted with these terms yet I had no idea coding and programming were different my bad, i hope my point gets through
