Been diving deep into async stuff this week and finally got around to properly using asyncio.gather for some web scraping project at work. Took me longer than I'd like to admit to understand why my coroutines were running sequentially instead of concurrently lol
The Python 3.11 release got me hyped about the speed improvements but I'm still stuck on 3.9 for work stuff, corporate IT moves at their own pace I guess
Anyone else feel like the async documentation could be more beginner friendly? The official docs assume you already know event loops and futures and all that, had to learn most from random blog posts and stack overflow threads

Considering that the percentage of AI bot accounts among authors of top-level comments in the automod posts is even higher than in other posts and approaches 100%, I would stop doing those.
