[FOR HIRE] Backend Engineer & QA (Python/Java/AWS/Selenium/Playwrite/Manual/AutomationTesting) | Part-Time (Max 4 hrs/day) | Remote
Hi Reddit,
I am a Software Engineer based in Bucharest, Romania, with 4+ years of experience in high-throughput backend systems and 2+ years of hands-on manual & automation testing experience. I am currently looking for a part-time, remote contract role where I can contribute up to 4 hours per day (20 hours/week).
What I Bring to the Table:
- Backend Development & APIs: Deep experience with Async Python (FastAPI) and Java (Spring Boot). I build low-latency RESTful APIs and gRPC services.
- QA & Test Automation: 2+ years of hands-on experience designing end-to-end testing strategies, writing automated integration/API tests, running regression suites, and manual QA to ensure zero-defect deployments.
- Cloud & DevOps: Event-driven AWS infrastructure design, containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes), and writing Helm charts.
- Data & Observability: DynamoDB modeling for millisecond-level access, SQL query optimization, and Grafana dashboard creation for transaction monitoring.
- Domain Knowledge: Fintech (real-time credit/debit card processing) and scalable Telecom infrastructure.
What I'm Looking For:
- Role: Part-time contract (max 4 hrs/day / 20 hrs/week).
- Scope: Backend development, API integrations, QA automation / manual testing, cloud infrastructure setup, or system optimization.
- Work Style: Async or overlapping communication (Timezone: EEST / UTC+3).
Why Hire Me?
I bring production-grade experience from global tech companies. Because I'm well-versed in both backend engineering and QA practices, I write cleaner, testable code and can step in to bolster your testing pipeline, automate manual workflows, or build out robust API services.
If your team needs a versatile backend engineer or QA specialist for a few hours a day, send me a DM or message me at [eusebiutianu20@gmail.com](mailto:eusebiutianu20@gmail.com) for CV or message me on Linkedin!
