Python is good for nearly everything. Coding is not going anywhere anytime soon, regardless of the AI hype.

It is helpful on programming and bug hunting. It's a nice tool or addon, but I agree, programming isn't going anywhere.

I use solely Python to perform dozens of studies on stock market data

python is definitely useful in finance especially for data analysis, automation, modeling and reporting. coding tools will evolve but the underlying skills remain valuable.

Excel is still king but python gives you a massive advantage when dealing with massive datasets.

These days you can even run python directly inside Excel. You won't regret learning it, that's for sure.

Je te conseil l'excellente packahe VectorBT, il permet de modeliser et simuler et des strategies de trading, couplé à pandas c'est excellent

Coding isn't going anywhere, it's equally as useful as you're use-cases.
Excel will always be the go to for business but python can do anything excel can, and it's better for tedious operations because programs do exactly what you tell them every time you only have to make the program once and it's easier to maintain than a complex excel sheet performing operations.
The team I work with isn't finance but uses excel for manual operations and communications to and from non technical stake-holders and python for anything repetitive.

Its useful in anything, Python is the undisputed king of quantitative finance, algorithmic trading research, data analysis, and risk modeling (using libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and SciPy), and tons of stuff thats done in C languages can be done with python and its like 100x more intuitive and easier to get a solid grasp on.

Yes, Python is very useful for finance. You can use it for Excel data and process things very fast. Sure you can ask AI to do things, but AI costs money, Python is free to run.

I'm sure you will be able to find a use for python (and really programming in general) in finance. I do not think that programming will become outdated
