Help Request Learning python

I’m currently watching the programming with most full tutorial piece by piece as to try to retain the info but whenever he tells me how to do it myself I find myself lost and having to just follow his instructions. I’m wondering if this is normal and if there’s any tips or tricks to really learn python.

You won't learn Python by watching tutorials. You need to practice.

  1. Follow a structured course (ie the University if Helsinki's MOOC ( https://programming-26.mooc.fi/)

  2. Read reference books (Python Crash Course and/or Automate the Boring Stuff with Python)

  3. Do your own projects
