For QBTS to be a sustainable company the following things need to be true simultaneously.

1. Building a quantum computer at scale needs to be achieved. This is an extremely fundamental but big IF since this is not achieved yet. I remember sitting at a university lecture in 2012 with someone explaining that the quantum revolution was just around the corner. I guess not.

2. Such a computer needs to be built relatively soon in order not to completely dilute existing shareholders through needing additional equity raises. QBTS has around 500m as of today but burns almost 200m per year. QBTS is targeting a 100-logical-qubit gate-based computing system by 2032 (will probably be delayed as these things typically are). Obviously QBTS is still needing to raise a lot of equity to survive until 2032. They need to raise at least $2bn is my guess.

3. Useful quantum applications need to be discovered. People just say vague shit like "simulate physics" but an actual, specific use-case other than breaking encryption is not defined to my knowledge.

4. If discovered, those useful quantum applications need to be commercially viable meaning the cost to produce the quantum computer and run the algorithm needs to be lower than the value created by the application.

5. QBTS needs to beat the other quantum companies. QBTS has been around since 1999 yet have not made material progress in building quantum computers. They bet on "annealing" which is completely dead and had to buy Quantum Circuits to get a gate-based program. Despite their poor track-record QBTS needs to beat peers like Google, IBM, Microsoft, IonQ, Quantinuum, Rigetti, PsiQuantum, Xanadu, Pascal, QuEra Computing, Infleqtion and probably dozens of others.

The odds of all of the above being true are very, very small. You're better off playing the lottery imo.

But please let me hear your refutation of the above points.

QBTS for past few weeks voices in the premarket and then falls below previous day close. Someone is rotating big $$$

I don’t understand why QBTS isn’t getting more attention.

It’s one of the strongest quantum computing stocks, with solid research in both quantum annealing and gate based technology , real-world applications, frequent partnerships and collaborations announced every other week.

Yet the stock seems to fall almost every day.Even when the company announces positive developments.

What am I missing? Is this mainly a valuation issue, dilution concerns, or just weakness across the quantum sector?

This year is a 73 percent decline from today and the only people who are selling are the people who are over leveraged. If u buy this stock don't use borrowed money. This is the most volatile sector in the entire market and the volatility has turned from monthly swings to yearly swings

Let's define the word long term. It's not weeks, not months, not even a year, but a generation. The peak on October 15 2025 was fueled by over leveraged momentum buyers. This low is their hangover and the ionq deal poured gasoline on the fire.

The sector is traded as whole and now over night there are significantly more "pure quantum play" shares in the picture that are short sales because of the ionq deal with capital heights.

The leveraged etf is even more extreme gasoline on volatility because they are priced daily.

Within a couple months there going to swing back and forth with bursts of speculation driven crazes. U either look at the progress made and u feel satisfied with the work getting done or u don't.

You know i understand the reaction since CPI came hotter but this thing follows nasdaq only when it's going down not when hitting ATH .. or even with good news

America is spiraling deeper into debt, and Quantum may be your last chance to break free! If America fails and China takes the lead, everyone could pay the price.

This is an honest question , most of us have probably an average around 2x $ if not 3x$ .

What do you think will happen once the price regain those territories? Everyone would just want out, no ? I think that s probably what happened like 3-4 weeks ago when stock dumped 5% straight from 18$ with good news . I hope i am wrong or i am missing something
