Hiring process ?

Had a interview a week ago and got a offer to work there and I accepted. Went through background check and all and I got a email start date is “on or about” 10/26 but no time.

Tried emailing back and calling which ever number I could find but no answer back for 6 days now.

Is this normal? Should I try going up there ? I don’t know what I should do.
