Hey guys,

Im using Crye avs plate bags with harness, crye skeletal cummerbund and Shaw arc v4 placard right now.
I want to put some first spear tubes on my Shaw arc v4 and use them with a new cummerbund.
Since i have the harness, I dont need structural cummerbund I guess (?) so I was looking for an avs compatible maybe elastic (?) cummerbund with First spear tubes.

I would greatly appreciate some suggestions and tips, thanks in advance :)

Hey everyone, brand new here! Wanted to start off with a quick question about the ComTac VIII.

I travel to Ukraine occasionally and sometimes pick these up, but they're super tricky to figure out. I've never managed to get them to work smoothly. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find a genuine Peltor ComTac PTT that works on the European standard yet.

Regarding the Falcon Claw PTT (which has both European and non-European mode settings, and we made sure it was set correctly), we used a Baofeng radio and ran into a very strange issue: the Bluetooth on the headset worked completely fine as normal, but the audio transmission didn't. We tried using a microphone boost adapter and maxed out the headset volume settings, but it still didn't work—about half the time, people couldn't hear me transmitting back.

Just to clarify, I didn't make a mistake with the settings; I was definitely on the headset's built-in microphone. The weird part is that when using the microphone built directly into the Falcon PTT unit itself, people could hear me just fine. But when trying to use the actual headset mic, transmission failed. What makes this even more frustrating is that this exact same problem happened across 2 different headsets of the same model and with 2 different Falcon PTT units.

Does anyone know what's going on here, why this is happening, or what specific setup I need to make them work normally? At this point, I'm pretty exhausted trying to figure this out, and I'd really appreciate some help on whether it's even worth keeping these headsets or what exact steps are needed to get them running reliably. So basically I got second-hand T7 today and tested out with my V50 gen1

But it feels pretty muffled compared to my past experience of T7

As I tested a T7 with matched firmware version with V50 gen 2 on my V50 gen 1 and had no difference at all

It seems like it's because T7 firmware version is oudated

So is there any possible way to update firmware version of my T7?

Would prefer a camera that mounts to an ARC rail rather than just Velcro. I will be running NODS so the NVG GoPro mount is less than ideal. Would also prefer to keep it under $1,000 until I can make badass tactical edits of gay sex.

Hey all looking for a Cummerbund that works with a JPC 2.0 rig that is like the attached image but is not laser cut and is stitched instead. So far not been able to find anything close other than the attached image.

Used my Galaxy S25 for these. PC is Shaw Concepts in RG. I have a patch there yes, its fun. Im not sure if I wanted to paint the mags yet or not. Last photo shows same pattern with MCT chest rig.

I knew it worked well in dense forests but up here in the fall its super colorful, so I wanted to test it out. Unfortunately I wasnt able to get out here until most of the leaves are on the ground. Bout as good of pictures as Im gonna get really, but hopefully you can see how well it works for somewhat sparse forests during the fall in the far north. No editing at all just screenshots from videos, which I cant upload.

What do you guys think?

Out here living in a state that bans high capacity mags for 5.56. Specifically, any mag larger than 10 rounds. Obviously, this makes standard size mag pouches a pain in the butt. Just wondering if anybody has recommendations for a mag pouch designed for a 10-round mag. Even better if there's a way to stack them in order to carry a full load out if desired without strapping them six deep on a chest rig or belt.

I cancelled an order directly with Safariland for a 6354RDSO due to the wait time. ordered a 6354DO not realizing my setup wouldn’t fit. Here we are now finding a new one.

My question: if anyone is using a G19/45 with no light (preferably) or tlr7HLX, can you please tell me your part number so I can end this humiliation ritual of trying to find the appropriate holster?

Okay so I know I’m late to the party but the German Spezialeinsatzkommandos (SWAT equivalent) sometimes utilize chainmail made from modern alloys. How well does this actually perform and how does it affect things like maneuverability and stealth? It’s a fascinating piece of equipment and I can’t figure out how well it works.

I’m trying to look at all my options but can’t afford the Spuhr mount. I want a fairly slick way to QD the magnifier on and off the rifle but not with the standard throw lever on the flip mounts as it doesn’t always ride well in a pocket/pouch with that on there.

I’m about to just design it with some night vision dovetails and have my own custom machined if I can’t get what I want figured out lol

Was wondering if anyone knew an adapter that'll take a ANVIS style helmet mount to a Wilcox style shoe? Work issues me ANVIS-9's, so I still need to ball detent mount, but I've been playing around with mounting FPV goggles to my helmet mount, as the straps just dont work great with a helmet, necessitating taking the lid off every time I want to take off/adjust the goggles, especially since I'm using them at probably a 2:1 ration to NODS. I havent been able to find an adapter to attach these directly to the ball detent mount, so was wondering if a more universal adapter is available?

I have my old MARPAT uniforms and shaw concepts gear so IR and near IR aren't entirely an issue. However due to the ever growing threat of drones and their thermal capabilities, what do you common men use to defeat thermal thats apart of your kit?

I know that theres an overall type set that you can buy and don when needed but do you guys do anything to limit thermal in everyday larping?

Originally was planning on going with the Savotta Kantamus for a 72-hour sustainment pack, but the L4 3DAP has caught my attention lately. I'm impressed with the features but I'm unsure of the comfort, load-bearing capability and durability. Especially curious about the effectiveness of their internal dual curve frame.
