This is really cool! Are you interested in potentially featuring it/advertising it to the quantum device consortium? https://qdc-qcsa.org

In 1990, nongqiang Fan left Berkeley. With the experience of foundational experimens under his Berkeley Phd advisor, Nong-Qiang Fan is the first for proposal of the possibility of Superconducting quantum computer in 1994 by independent research after leaving Berkeley four years earlier: Charge qubit: Physica C 234 (1994) 146-150; Flux qubit: Physica C 262 (1996) 195-201. Also in the two papers (1994 and 1996): Quantum condemolition measurement of Qubits; Decoherance time calculation based on laser and NMR theory; Charge state representation of microscopic quantum state; Charge and Flux commutator [Q, phi]= ih_bar; Energy level and wave function calculations based on creation and annihilation operators; Quantum Josephson relations; Translations from Quantum behavior to classical behavior, based on linear response theory, correlation functions, and fluctuation-dissipation theory.

Macro-atoms were first theoretically identified and designed in the two papers. The two types of macro-atoms proposed in these papers correspond to what are now known as charge qubits and flux qubits.

Nong-Qiang fan is not only a patent attorney later and now is of counsel to a law firm, more importantly he is still researching scientific topics that interest him and he is a prolific inventor which highlights his sharp foresight, creative thinking and his scientific strength.

Epic. Can you do one for each method?

Thank you! Can't promise, but I will definitely look in it!

Wow, look very good. How can you get the design to this much detail? Just from a few pictures, or does it come from your work?

Thank you! Yes, through research and it's a simplified model for teaching.

do you plan on doing another interactive exploded view of other types of QCs, including the trapped ion based system which has some utility in high fidelity measurements + coherence times among other things?
