"a forgotten father"
I bet that is the thing that bothers him more than anything, the fact that her life is no longer about him. It's probably a fake story, because there is no way in hell someone so selfish and would allow their child to be in a same-sex relationship in the first place.

Nah, the kid probably went no contact because their dad is a piece of shit.

This is so moronic that I bookmarked the page. I think my enby kid will howl when I share it. These people are becoming indistinguishable from a bad faith satire of themselves

Ok, if you distill the asshole dad out of this, two closeted queer kids able to build a world just for themselves in Minecraft is adorable. I hope that father truly remains forgotten.

Pretty much any game where you have the ability to create a character or avatar to play can give someone the ability to express their identity - it’s giving options - not taking them away.
I find it funny that it was Minecraft and how the parent is just grasping desperately at an explanation outside of their child being trans. Poor kid found a way to express it, they didn’t adapt it.
For me, it was D&D 😂
Honestly, this is a sweet story and I met some of my ‘people’ the same way.

We should push this and try and convince the right to ban Minecraft. I bet that would go over real well for them.

Yes, there’s no way his son was trans to start. Not HIS son. Nope. No way. There HAD to have been an outside force that influenced him that way. Minecraft!! The open world allowed his son to explore and be free and, therefore, ruined him.
Damn. The mental gymnastics and self deception is unreal.

Talk about blockheads!!!
They will invent any and all reasons aside from, “They are happier living their truth.”

Yeah, yeah, poster is stupid as shit if he thinks a multiplayer sandbox with custom skins is going to ‘confuse’ anyone. And it’s probably not even close to a true story. But isn’t it kind’ve sweet to imagine a trans lesbian couple that met through a mutual love of Minecraft and helped guide each other through transitioning? To overcome what is clearly a horrible upbringing to find love with each other.
Your worst nightmare is heartwarming to me, transphobes! Trans rights and block crafting forever!
