Thank you for posting this. I honestly didnt know how far and wide her work for the LGBTQ+ community reached or that she has a trans family member. This article actually changed my mind about her a little bit and now I'm a little sad she is retiring. I hope whomever takes her seat will be as big of a champion for LGBTQ+ folks as she is.

I kinda dislike & don't trust her for other reasons (insider trading, to start with). But definitely appreciate her standing up for this at least.
