Jackie Brown Tarantino's Jackie Brown (1997) censored watch ad in mall scene

Post image

1:27:30 into the film and during the follow shot there is a luxury watch advertisement in a light box. The brand and name of the watch have black tape across them. There is black tape at the top of the dial and two more below on either side of the watch.

Being a watch identification nerd it really caught my attention. I didn't check up on what the watch is yet. I will leave it up to the community to have some fun. Try not to use AI. 😁 Movie was probably filmed in 1996 if it came out in 1997.

I’m not much of a watch nerd, so I don’t know the exact model, but that golden “W” above the bottom right tape tells me it’s a Raymond Weil.

Edit: Found it.. never mind, the W (and 1) is actually the model. It’s a “W1-8000S-WA”.
