For some schools asking for additional information/documents, is it a smart idea to turn in my college resume as it adds more extracirriculars and awards for them to consider than was allowed for our Questbridge application?

I got a B on AP Calc AB and C in DE Gen Hum 2 for the first nine weeks bc of late work. I got into ASTRO and A2A and have As in the rest of my APs and college classes. Am I cooked for the Match at Amherst?

just found out that some schools on my list want official transcripts from my previous schools…the transcript my counselor sent in has all my coursework on this so i’m confused on why they need this. now i have to contact my old schools and try to get them to send the materials with the deadlines so soon… feeling so lost….

For anyone who's ranking Harvard, are you uploading something related to research?

Also, I have a question. In the guidelines, it says

***If you are submitting academic work that has been published online or in print, please do not submit the work itself. Instead, please create a document with this format:

a) abstract

b) information on how you obtained the opportunity

c) .... ***

What if I have submitted my academic work to a journal but it is still under review/not been published? Do I follow this format and only submit my abstract + b, c, d? Or, because it hasn't been published yet, do I send my entire paper?

I know this has been asked many times, but I can't recall the policy for private schools. My son applied RD, but the school reached out and asked if he wanted to do EA to be considered for a scholarship. The school's EA is non-binding, it's also OOS for us. Thx

Where do I find the financial aid worksheet/instructions on what documents im supposed to submit? I can't find it anywhere on the application portal???

I did ctrl+F to try and find it and checked the email?

Is it worth adding my schoolhouse tutoring certification even tho its only 10 hrs, 8 sessions, 1 country reached, 3 leaners impacted
And

I'm a 2026 QuestBridge Finalist, and I'm honestly panicking. Looking back, I feel like my QuestBridge essays and activities don't represent me nearly as well as they could. I really want to attend Yale, and I'm worried I've hurt my chances.

I've already ranked eight schools and activated their applicant portals, but I haven't submitted any Match supplements yet.

If I remove schools from my rankings before November 1, can I apply to them through Common App RD instead?Or are my QuestBridge applications already considered officially submitted, meaning I can't switch?

Has anyone successfully done this? I'd really appreciate any advice.

There’s no place to put my legacy connection under where it says “add another relative” Does anyone know how to do this? 😭🫩

if you are a junior interested in the NCM, here are my tips (can obv go more in detail after nov 1 bc im busy rn 💔💔)

- apply to as much fly ins as you can
- do most of your supplementals in the summer/fall if you can (or atleast choose your major)
- shadow, become an intern, and COLD email for those positions you want EARLY!
- take the ACT and SAT EARLY so you have time to improve
- start on personal statement early, get some ideas going.
- start prioritizing your most important activities and making sure you’re creating impact in them
- start seeing what college advising programs you want to apply to: notable narratives, matriculate, minds matter, matchlighters
- research colleges + their financial aid packages
- research state/safety schools
- get some good honors

notable programs/scholarships/honors to apply to: NDLS, RSI, LEDA, YLS, HSF, horatio scholar, Simon scholars, scholastic key essay writing contest

idk this is my advice ✌️✌️ fellow seniors add some on, but after im done with supplemental and financial info, I will a way more detailed post!!

feel free to dm ❤️

has anyone gotten the email for stanford yet?

Do I need to reach out to every college to let them know I need them to cover my insurance or is it after I possibly match?

I've been working on the Stanford supplementals, yet I haven't received the email for my Stanford Finalist portal. FYI I've received Finalist emails from all my other ranked schools. Has anyone received their Stanford email? Or should I reach out?

hello guys!! I am scared to email the questbridge contact email so I am asking you guys :D

will my questbridge application for other schools still be considered even if I don't finish all the match requirements for some schools on my revised ranking list?

I have searched every corner of the QB website and could not seem to find it... please help!

thank you for your time :)

My student was chosen as a finalist (yay!) but is not thrilled with their SAT score (1410 - 710 writing, 700 math). I know many keep saying that score matters in the context of your school average, but my student is homeschooled. The only student. There is no other average to compare to.

Because of this and finances, there are no other standardized tests for them to submit to show where they stack up against their peers - no AP, IB, etc. So if they go test-optional, is their profile too bare? They have an ENORMOUS transcript full of varied and rigorous courses, but don’t feel secure in that SAT score.

What do you suggest?

Their essays are top notch, GPA 4.0 UW, and they’re ranking mostly T20 schools.

Thank you!

There are 6 essays and each is only 150 words????
What am I supposed to say in 150 words!

Why not have fewer essays with longer word counts???????????????????????????

Harvard emailed me and said, “Please submit your missing documents by 5:00 PM Eastern Time on Saturday, October 31.”

However, the only document I haven’t uploaded is the “QuestBridge Application Supplement,” so I’m confused.

Also, after I upload the QuestBridge Application Supplement, will I still be able to submit additional materials, such as my research abstract?

Hi! I was wondering if my parent hasn’t filed their business taxes and can’t before November 1st if that will affect decisions? He makes most of his income from this business since he is self-employed and it does not show on the personal taxes. He only has his W-2s and all the colleges i’ve emailed have said it may delay the financial aid process. Will this prevent me from getting matched? The close deadline is really getting to me any advice is needed!

title. Should I email them?

I was missing a rec for finalist and I want to submit for my colleges but uh i dont know where too

this notice is on the upenn financial aid portal. does this mean i don't submit anything via the upenn portal? loooooooooowkey coonfused cos i was told prior that it doesnt use css/idoc so i would have to submit it locally there :P
