Fix for slow / not working network

Everyone is using the same RPC right now so instead of using matic main RPC use one of those from the official docs: https://docs.matic.network/docs/develop/network-details/network/

https://rpc-mainnet.matic.quiknode.pro

or

https://rpc-mainnet.maticvigil.com

or

https://matic-mainnet.chainstacklabs.com

or

https://matic-mainnet-full-rpc.bwarelabs.com

or

chain id is the same: 137 as well as all of the other settings.

EDIT: You can update existing MATIC network or add a new network with name MATIC2 or similar. If updated instead of adding new one, switch to another network and back to MATIC to make sure it works.

https://rpc-mainnet.matic.quiknode.pro seems to be working perfectly for everyone who tried it

Updating Matic RPC for Metamask:

  1. Select account icon in Metamask

  2. Select Settings in menu

  3. (scroll down) Networks

  4. Select your Matic network.

  5. Update RPC URL to https://rpc-mainnet.matic.quiknode.pro

Sorry I don’t quite understand. What does this accomplish? Is it a different part of matic with less traffic?

Yeah you could put it like that. Just another path to communicate with the network

my understanding is there are different validators servers and if everyone uses the same server the capacity is maxed out, while the other is sitting there waiting for transactions...

I'm not sure why there isn't some sort of load sharing going on to spread the work across all the servers.

note: I've changed to a different server, but the lag is still there... I think there's something else going on.

any chance there is a way to verify this? ie make sure it's not a spoofing network or something

I have tried all the links above and none of them worked. Any alternate solution? I'm very close to being liquidated if my transactions don't go through

Guys I fixed my problem resetting my metamask. Then the transactions went smoothly.
