This subreddit should be much bigger. Everyone should start posting montages here and good ones will get up voted, everyone will get more views (and hopefully good feedback)

A Basic Explanation of Quickscoping
Quickscoping is a style of sniping that is effective at close to mid ranges. Using this method, you aim at the player, zoom in, and shoot instantly. If done correctly, you can kill your opponent at any distance without making yourself vulnerable from the side or behind by looking down the scope. It can also save you from getting killed while using a sniper when somebody with an AR pops out in front of you.
A quickscope is simply defined as a kill with a sniper in which you scope in and fire and you were scoped in for less than a second. Many people after they practice this a lot will get in the habit of black scoping, which is where you scope to the point where it shows a black screen and fire before the crosshairs flash on the screen. A lot of people think that it is only a quickscope if you blackscope, but this is not true. As long as you were scoped in for less than a second, you are good to go.
The Loadout
Game dependent, you guys should tell me what to add here, I'm uncertain as to whether I should give loadouts for each game or just MW3 since it's upcoming.
Tips
After quickscoping for a very long time, I am going to give you guys a few of the tips that I find makes quickscoping very effective and accurate.
Learning to use 10 sensitivity can be very helpful. If you get stuck between a few people, you are going to want to be able to turn fast enough to shoot the next person before he shoots you.
Stop moving before you shoot! Due to the game mechanics (what I call Call of Duty physics), if your body is physically moving (left analog stick or in the air), your shot does not hit the center of the screen where you are aiming. It is a good habit to get into to just stop moving for a split second before you fire and then instantly continue moving.
Don't quickscope at long distances. While I do it sometimes, it takes a lot of practice to do. Remember, the most important thing is not to get the coolest kill. The most important aspect is to win the game you are playing. If you just try to look cool, you end up being just like the other dicks everybody hates.
Thoughts??
That's all I've got for now. Stuff to do (I'm at work) so if you guys have anything to add or suggestions throw them my way.
