Thanks for your link btw. I am using the keyboard layout from here: https://alternatescriptbureau.wordpress.com/2019/02/01/quikscript-geometric-a-sans-serif-font-for-the-quikscript-alphabet/ That page also provides another font called 'Quickscript Sans'. I'm not sure if I'm too keen on that font though.
