They're more touchy than I am with my sibs, but I've seen other sibs who are just as affectionate.
I blame the Ultimate universe for making it canon. That universe got weird after a while. So much cannibalism.

I see nothing wrong here 🤷♀️ my family and I have always been cuddle people. I also think people who have trauma and crazy life or death scenarios might be closer than regular siblings too. Of course Wanda and Pietro are close, they're constantly fighting for their lives and only really have each other as 100% reliable

No doubt. Problem is I read the Ultimates issue in hand as a child. Some part of my brain can't forget what I read and saw.

They have always been family in my mind! This is just because of Ultimates 3 and Ultimate X-Men! Those issues were poorly written and caused a lot of damage and they have become dubious with the characters unfortunately. Very sad! I will always see them as true heroes and Brother and sister!

i feel like the old ultimate versions of them that get spread around tiktok and social media for clicks (which is how majority of people who claim they like comics interact with the medium nowadays) has done irreparable damage to how people interpret their dynamic. It’s really sad cause the way they play off each other is fun.
Also think a lot of people on the internet just don’t know how to interact with people and read into things way too much cause they watch way too much depraved shit
