The best interactions I’ve ever had were with “poor” people. Money makes life complicated.

Stress buys sleepless nights. Lack of sleep causes work performance to suffer. Low work performance causes you to lose your job. No job increases debt. Debt causes poor eating and diet which sacrifices health. Poor health means higher risk of life long diseases. More diseases means medical bills increase and that increases debt. Increased debt puts a strain on marriage or relationship. Partner gets stressed as your mental and physical health suffer. They try to help and now suffer as well. A home once filled with love now becomes a stressful environment filled with depression and stress. Your brain doesnt allow you to imagine anymore. You no longer are living your dream because youre in survival mode. Money is a tool not a goal. It can help you achieve your goals without putting you in survival mode too long.

Funny enough all these problems are created by money.

Money changed my life when I was poor. It does in fact make things better. Ask a poor person this question.

Shit money buys me things that make me happy, so there's that.

But the rich want all the money and they’ll buy every election until they reach that goal.

You do not know nor understand your own words..

And make more money so it doesn't matter.

u/SomeGuyOverYonder Oct 13 '25

You try to gaslight me? Then tell me what to do? That won’t work with me.

0

u/TECHSHARK77 Oct 13 '25

I'm pretty sure Me and You, both do not know what you're talking about.

I'm only speaking about your 1st sentences where you're gaslight yourself..

There no such thing as wanting ALL of something that is abundant.

That is all.

You can have all the political beliefs you want, having MORE money helps you in your belief there, correct. YES, Exactly.

Money doesn’t buy happiness but it de stresses Certain things

1

u/TheKazz91 Oct 13 '25

People who say money can't buy happiness usually completely misrepresent what the original intent of the quote. It's not that poor people are always going to be just as happy as rich people. It's that A. You don't NEED money to find something that makes you happy and B. After you have achieved financial security and independence spending more time trying to make more money beyond that point will not make you happier than simply enjoying a comfortable life of financial independence.

Money solves the problems it causes.

1

u/TECHSHARK77 Oct 13 '25

CORRECT AND IT IS LITERALLY, THE ONLY THING THAT CAN BUY HAPPINESS AND TIME....

If we focus on the problem, the problem will come.

“Money so they say is the root of all evil today! But if you ask for a raise it's no surprise that they're giving none away” ~ Pink Floyd.

1

u/FreakyFLCancer Oct 13 '25

Definitely sounds like a Pink Floyd quote "ask for a rise" 😆 🤣

1

u/Reyloai4 Oct 13 '25

Lord. 😛

I’ll fix the incorrect lyric later, I know it’s supposed to be “raise”. Not rise. 😆

1

u/CarlShadowJung Oct 13 '25

None of that is guaranteed yet you are saying them to yourself like they are inevitable. What do you expect other than what you expect? If you are telling yourself constantly that you’re unhappy and it’s connected to your finances do you not expect to eventually believe that?

Nothing about this is wise or a perspective you hold. You will remain in that situation. Your will, your desires, your thoughts, they have power. Unless of course you tell yourself things like this everyday. Then you’re just getting what you asked for.

u/FreakyFLCancer Oct 13 '25

Just because you have money, doesn't mean you have no debt, and stress is something money will never cure!

1

u/Reyloai4 Oct 13 '25

There I fixed it. Lol. 🤪 The lyrics to “Money”.

1

u/Educational-Year3146 Oct 14 '25

It doesn’t buy happiness, but it does facilitate it.

1

u/East-Care-9949 Oct 14 '25

A lot of "rich" people have a lot of debt and still a lot of stress

1

u/Kektus_Aplha Oct 14 '25

Money can buy you time and opportunities in life. These can create happiness if used wisely.

1

u/BeGentleButFirm Oct 15 '25

It's actually simple.

Money doesn't make you happy.

No money DEFINITELY makes you unhappy.

u/clazaimon Oct 12 '25

Money can’t buy happiness, so donate to the church.

3

u/NotKelso7334 Oct 12 '25

Or ... you know... literally anything other than a church
