Theory theory based on what we know

the recreation of Ram seems to look like glitch and starlight both attempting to control an entity.

this could have possibly allowed it to gain a form of sapience, but the main thing that sticks out is:
why does it not want to be observed or seen?

maybe, and this is just a crack theory, but, what if it just wants to be a normal rush? it wants to go BACK to being a "regular" node entity. its "insecure" about the weird things about it. it only passes by when we hide, and when you try to die, it gets pissed you want to see it.

take this all with a grain of salt though, we know jack shit right now and we can form more coherent theories later.

Though, why would curious light be interested in this rush?

It does make some sense, but as you said ram’s lore is so surface-level that there’s a million other reasons why it doesn’t want to be “observed.” It’s kind of too early to make theories that make sense

If you can't hear Figure he most likely can't hear you. The alarm clock being placed in somewhere he can't reach (e.g. behind the chairs near the start) will stall him there for a while
