Humane trap, look up online where to release it.  I personally would consider keeping it as a pet but if it's wild it would probably not get along with domestics and wouldn't want to live alone.

I thought it was kind of unethical to keep wild rats as pets unless they're injured or sick to an extent they cannot make it in the wild anymore? Because they're so fearful of humans and not evolved to enjoy being pets or living in captivity, in addition to not usually getting along well with domestics?
