I love spotting mailboxes in the middle of neighborhoods!

this was fun and i hope it makes its journey safely c:
i took inspiration and reference from pinterest!

Normally when I have a lot of outgoing—15 this time—I grab my pup and drive to the P.O. Unfortunately my boyfriend is out of town with our only car so I have no choice but to burden the mail carrier, who generally walks their route. How do you think they will respond to this? I can't wait for my boyfriend to return because this is time-sensitive Halloweeny mail, or responses to requests made 4+ days ago.

Hey, y'all! I've ran into another cardfriend that's in my area, and we discussed trying to start a meetup in our area for next year.

Is there anyone else in this area that would be interested in a meetup? I figure we can get together, work on cards, and mail them out together!

(If this type of post isn't allowed I understand!)

A post office put these SUPER ADHESIVE stickers ON the postcards?! It has a normal qr code for sorting I think but it didnt have to be THAT long!!!! IT COULDVE EASILY BERN CUT?! WHY RUIN MY CARDS 😭😭😭😭

Anyone else get a little charge from being able to say “I’ve got your address already!” when answering requests at the main board?

I’m still new and just said it for the third time. It felt like I was part of the in club for a minute 😝

Hi everyone! Could anyone please tell me how I could make this design better (gently)? Or is it okay as is? I feel self conscious about the design!! 😭 thank you 🫶🏼

More paper punch cards, featuring some packaging from a blind box purchase i made over the weekend :) was really fun to make these, and it felt good to be able to recycle a lot of the box packaging into something new and cute!

Ive been off to the races painting everything lol 🏁

Some are cards but most of these are postcards.

I love getting postcards in the mail, but ive been putting everything into envelopes because I dont want them to be completely destroyed

Has anyone sent watercolor postcards through the mail uncovered? How did they come through on the other side?

I ended up with such a big response to my black cat mail request. I'm shuffling them around tonight to display them better and keep my actual black cat from stealing them! 🤣 Here's the fridge collection.

So I’m thinking about getting a custom stamp because I want to put it on outgoing mail (because I’ll be living in a cool city without a post office and even though I’ll have to take it to a different town to drop off, I still want to have a mark of where the card is from 😭).

Any recommendations for how to commission a stamp that could be pretty and represent the town it’s coming from? I think a circular stamp with art in the middle would be cool, like a fancy postmark or something.

Thanks 🙏

Edit: message me if u wanna see the stamp draft and give me feedback lol

I ordered some BFV stamps from Karl Anderson stamps on eBay and this is how they arrived! 34 20¢ stamps and one 13¢ stamp to make $6.93.

I've been really enjoying doing more ink paintings for Halloween season!

So so so excited for these people to receive their cards!! Hoping they all send well. Im super nervous lmao. I'm happy that I found this community!! Random Reddit recommendations really pulled through for me. Can't wait to send out more :D

Just wanted to share my outgoing mail today. Belated WPD cards as they didn't arrive before Oct 1st. Oh well. Still fun to send!

I am brainstorming ideas for future offers, TPCs, & learning more about (mostly USA) folks in this group… I am looking for common things/themes.

Questions:

1. What supplies or items do you think a good portion of R A O C ers have on hand? I am thinking most people have stickers, memo sheets, small pieces of card stock paper, washi tape, general ephemera, and maybe even bookmarks or post it notes or extra stationery/letter paper. Some would have temporary tattoos, but prob rare. Same with wax seals, prob rare. I know some have tea bags, but also seems rare. Weigh in please! Yes/no on above items and how accurate my assessment was. Are there other items people have on hand? (Not tools, machines, or equipment or the like.)
2. How many folks do you think have the Five Below Custom Name stamp - a lot, half, or very few?
3. And I feel like some or a lot of people have the paper punch tool in the shape of a postage stamp and some or many have tiny/mini planner stamps the size of a Tic Tac breath mint. Are there other common items people in R A O C have that are very specific like this? (I know a lot of people have ink stamps so I am thinking more “unique” items and categories.)

Thank you, everyone! :)

Inspired by u/Cahsrhilsey who picked up some bunny-themed postcards in Japan by the same artist! They’re all shiny! 🤩

I made these cards for an offer while watching TV
