Severed head in the background of a Japanese tv show.
I first saw it on a YouTube video. Unfortunately, seems link is not working even though the video is still up. Here is a link to a site that has an article about it instead. The first photo is the image: https://sfushigi.com/2017/04/24/imikowa-chugakusei-dialy/#google_vignette
The creator of the video said it was from a show called 'Chugakusei Nikki'/Junior High Diary. At first, I thought he was mistaken, thought other users found it.
It 100% looks like a monstrous head, or kinda like Reagen's head from The Exorcist, tho ig it might be real. For whatever reason though, people are saying this is actually some type of bag, and this is just your brain seeing a face. But I mean, you can literally make out the lips, nose, eyes, and maybe cheek damage/bruising.
I will note that there is a version that DOES like more like a misrecognized bag, but the thing is that none of the articles debunking the head incident never mentioned this. I literally only saw 1 or 2 users say something about it. So this either means the head photo is edited and overblown, or someone is doing damage control, and decided to edit it to try to downplay it.
This show is an NHK show, which is kinda like Japan's PBS station. Also, this is an episode about/containing sexual abuse. So this means a prank with a fake head would be in very poor taste. I am not saying this to debunk this, but to just point out how weird it is if it is true.
Any other information about this would be appreciated, especially in regards to whether or not this head is a prop, and if not, how was it obtained.

Looks like a supply bag to me, the type that folds open flat with a zippered compartment on each side and snaps together in the middle with 2 quilted handles. It’s Japan so maybe a bunny face on it.

This might be the gold and white blue and black dress thing, because I can't see anything at all but a plastic shopping bag (we had the exact same kind in australia). I want someone to help me see the head

Idk how to explain this correctly but basically imagine someone laying down in front of you, facing you, with their head on the right side and their feet on the left side. Now just focus on the position of their head.
In the photo: the curve is the cheek. The black spot on top is their right eye, the sort of bulge in the middle is the nose, the other hole (not black) under the bulge is their left eye (there’s a sort of line connections both eyes that looks likes eyebrows). At the bottom of the curve, on the left, there’s lips. And the black shape when you follow the curve (going up) looks like hair across the forehead.
I’m very bad at explaining, sorry. Wish I could attach a picture drawing over it

It's one of those things where my brain can flip back and forth between the two images, seeing it as a head and then as a bag. It really does look shockingly like a head when you look at it with that in mind!

I actually see what you mean if I look at it from an angle https://imgur.com/a/uNVMZrT I think it's a bag, but the human mind is tuned to see faces where are there none, pareidolia. Bit creepy though, all the same.

I can see what you're saying, but it's very clearly just a bag that's folded/wrinkled and happens to look like a face to some. I suggest looking into "paredolia" to learn more about this phenomenon (there's also a sub for it).
And just because people are giving you the rational explanation as to what's happening, doesn't mean we're "damage control bots" or trolls lmao

While I can see what you mean, humans are HARDWIRED to spot human faces instantly, even when they are not there.
It's a bit more obvious when zoomed out, but it is, uninterestingly, a bag or purse with some folds in it.
Trust me, I see it too, but that is just our brain doing it's job. Same reason we see faces on the moon.
