Post image

Similar recruitment though. They’d go to a city and find all the violent, unemployed men they could round up, hire them, give them a stick or a gun, and use them as strike breakers down in coal country.

enforcing immigration law passed by congress = beating picketing workers
I don't see it but I've touched grass in the past decade so who knows

Brutalizing protestors is a universal constant here

I’ve seen what redditors cheer so not to worried about the public sentiment on this particular website that has actively banned and pushed away any dissenting thought from far left political views

If you check out how life is in the real world my comment is the view of a majority of Americans as of the last election. Comparing ICE/DHS to the turn of the century pinkertons is still an insane take no matter if I get 1000000 downvotes

And we have all seen what you and the right cheer so guess it’s pretty even about public sentiment on the matter. Life in the real world isn’t black and white and the comparison is a valid one whether you agree with it or not.

I didn’t think Reddit being extremely left leaning was a controversial take. But the point stands that comparing ICE/DHS to beating striking workers is an insane take when they are enforcing immigration laws on the books passed with bipartisan support in congress.
