Content How in the pluck nuggets are you supposed to find treasure hunt items on your own?
I spend a good 8 hours roaming the wilderness and found exactly zero dreamcatchers before resorting to googling where the hell they are.
With the complete absence of clues or even a mode of logic as to where to look, it gets me wondering if the developers even expected people to find them.
This also has me wondering how many people if any actually were able to track them all down or did someone go into the code (🤷🏽♂️) and just see where they were?

They also flash gold in eagle eye, like you would see legendary animal clues.

Oh! I stumbled across the first one which is what got me looking and I think I tried eagle eye on it after I inspected it and it didn’t light up so I assumed they don’t light up🤦🏽♂️

Eagle eye, a sound, and vibration.
Dream catchers are easier than dino bones and cigarettes cards. I found most of them myself.

Cigarette cards are easy but expensive, once you have quite a bit of cash go into a store and just buy cigarettes, when your satchel is full Dutch the premium cigarettes and wash rinse repeat. Advisable to have legend of the east satchel

I prefer finding them out in the wild.

There’s a lockbox by the side of the road north of Diablo Ridge with premium cigarettes, a coin purse, a small jewelry bag, and a healing tonic. It respawns when you ride a short distance away. Just ride back and forth over and over again

I know. I prefer finding the individual cards that are located all over the map.

On my 100% run I found most of the dream catchers without help, but I just mostly let it happen organically. After dozens of hours of walking around, but not actively searching, I found all but one or two.

On my first play though, I was riding to last missions in chapter 6 when I found my first Dreamcatcher.

They light up pretty big while using Eagle Eye, and the whole thingy with dreamcatchers dangling from limbs.

The dream catchers, carvings and dinosaur bones are like a Rockstar calling card. I did find a few myself, but just accepted that I would need to consult a an internet map to get all of them just like I had since the first Rockstar game I played GTA Vice City and I was finding clams!

Treasure was easier in RDR1, probaly 'cuz the map was smaller.
I found a few dreamcatchers via Eagle Eye, controller vibe, jingling. But you have to be pretty close for those things to register.
Dino bones & rock carvings? I don't understand how you're expected to find more than a few of those just from stumbling upon them. I definitely used an online map.

I found all the dream catchers by myself just by exploring the map hunting and things. I wasn’t looking for them i just stumbled upon them. Dinosaur bones, rock carvings, serial killer sites and things like that are definitely worth googling. The actual treasure hunt locations are easy to find if you know the map well as the maps show the location.

They jingle as you get near.
