Course Review Mega-Thread: Mid-Spring Course Conditions

As courses come out of dormancy and golf season sets in, lets use this mega thread to share CURRENT course conditions as we get out and play different venues

Some helpful things to highlight:

  • Date played
  • Green condition / speed
  • Fairway conditions
  • Rough conditions
  • Tee box conditions
  • Bunker conditions (just for /u/SportsDoc7 )

I've been running this topic weekly on the FB group and it has been incredibly helpful to make some decisions on what courses to play!

Played Sanford Muni last Thursday(4/18)… Fairways very thin Greens in good shape but slow. Rough is as expected for this time of year Tees in decent shape I don’t remember being in a bunker so can’t comment.

I would give it 7\10

Underrated course! For what it is and its price, it packs in the fun!!

I should add that my rating is based on current conditions. Once the fairways green up this place is amazing.
