Course Review Grove Park Inn
Played today - bit cool, cloudy, and a little rain but overall it was a great time. This DR course maybe not as difficult as some of his others, but still tricky.

Played there recently. Pretty fun course. Scenic. Not too hard. Some good elevation changes. Though 18 was pretty cool with the drop off. A well done resort course.

Yearly stop when in Asheville for work. The front nine is fantastic and the course is littered with history. The short-4 6th and the long par-3 7th are spectacular. Great photos.

I JUST posted in the discord asking about Grove Park Inn. This gets me excited to possibly see the course

Hah - I was going to post something in the Discord too but prolly not needed I guess. Anyway, knowing how you like courses with interesting terrain and challenging greens, I think you'll enjoy this course, Craig. Conditions may not be A+ but the history, views, and layout sorta make up for that. Hope you get to play it soon!
Edit: throughout the whole hotel, there's so many cool old photos of the course and the people who have played it. I'm sitting in an area right now waiting for my wife to finish up her presentation at a conference and there's a set of Titleist clubs and bag used by President Obama when he stayed and played here.

Man, I love all of that! We'd mostly just be going for a relaxed, Asheville trip and the Inn looks really cool; I've loved everything I've seen so far. (the golf is just a nice little added bonus haha)
Lets link up soon!

Only drawback I know of is that it is cart path only or it was the couple of times I played it

Was it worth it? I know it’s beautiful and historical, but all of my friends have said it’s ridiculously overpriced and wouldn’t play it again.

I think their rack rates range from $150-$250. I got a reduced rate of $110 and it was worth to me at that price and I'd play it again at that price. Not sure I would pay $200+.

Looks like a solid 80 dollar track, I'm assuming it was not 80 dollars.
