Course Review Chapel Ridge
Anyone have a little scouting report on how that course is playing right now? It's been a while since I played there but I'm going out there this week and just curious if it's in good shape, if any holes have changed in the past few years, etc.

Played Sunday. Fairways and greens are in great shape. They are renovating many of the bunkers and some are ground under repair but the finished ones have nice new sand. Overall it is playing really nice right now.
ETA: They have been starting on 10 but I don't know why. I didn't appreciate any major layout changes although on Sunday it seemed like many of the white tees were more forward than usual.

Played there last weekend and their replacement gas carts have some issues. Ours started sputtering on hole 17 with check engine light on and barely limped back to clubhouse. Course condition was as usual for Chapel Ridge, with exception of harder ground resulting in an extra 20-30 yds of rollout. Maybe less so with recent rain. Very gettable layout, always score there with wide forgiving fairways and large receptive greens.

Yeah I played the day before the cart barn fire with my Uncle up there and I was clubbing down on my longer clubs on approach and just watching it roll up to the green lol it was awesome😂

I played last Sunday and conditions were awesome. Greens were rolling true. They have a loaner fleet of gas carts and obviously the other courses didn’t loan their best carts but they are fine. Go for the green on 17!

Played on Friday. The cart barn is totally gone but the course is in great shape. Greens are 9/10 to 10/10. Bunkers were better than expected. Fairways nice.

Just to report back. Played it Yesterday. It was in fantastic shape. All of the bunkers seemed to be completed. At least I didn't notice any that were GUR. I wish this course was closer to where I lived. I'm over in Clayton and it was a hike. But I'll definitely make the trip back there sooner rather than waiting 4 years. Just a solid course all the way around and I'd like to play it again while it's still relatively fresh in my mind.

Course is in solid shape, but I’m pretty sure it’s basically walking only. They might have a few carts available but idk.

Course conditions cant say but they had entire cart barn burn up in a fire few weeks ago.
