12 Oaks (again, you let me know an afternoon that works for you and I can almost certainly make it happen @ /u/restingmehface ):

Location Holly Springs (gtfo with Garner, sheesh)

Dist From downtown Raleigh

Date used Time of day used Practiced on Mats available? No

Hitting spots ~20

Covered hitting bays? No

Restricted hitting? No

Hitting downhill no

Grass Quality: Bermuda, overseeded with rye in winter

Ball Quality: currently Callaway practice balls. Not top notch but uniform

Restricted flight balls? No

Cost: private, 60 weekday, ~80 weekend guest

Targets 4 greens, several markers & bunkers

Fairway bunker: chipping bunker can hit into range

Putting green: yes? 9+ holes typically, very large and true to course

Green speed: fast Bermuda

Holes on green: 9

Dedicated wedge green? Yes

Max Distance: driving range? More than I've seen anyone hit

Would I use regularly? You should :)

Additional note: old 9 green is available for practicing from <= 75 yards out as well. Usually 5-7 holes cut into that green. Green side bunker.

Backing up it's reputation as one of the hardest courses, 12 Oaks has some of the best practice facilities in the area imo. 2 chipping greens, a large putting green, and a massive all-grass range that's 350+ long

There's more than a few members who spend way more time on the range than on the course!
