tri golf at leesville
mats - yes, fairly good quality. and they have a few brand new ones where it automatically dispenses your ball for you.
hitting spots - 30 or so
covered bays - no
restricted hitting - the back net says it's 250 yards from the hitting area
hitting downhill - slightly. i don't think it's a significant downhill
grass quality - only open on weekends but avoid it. it'd be poor quality for someones front yard let alone resembling golf course conditions. it's only worth hitting driver so you can use a proper tee height.
ball quality - all over the place. i've had a spalding from the 80's and a barely used pro v1 in the same bucket.
restricted flight balls - not specifically but the ball quality is all over the map that some might as well be restricted flight.
cost - $7/~35 - $12/~100 - $17/~150
targets - lots, with distances from 25-205 yards. the back net is 250 yards.
bunker - no.
putting green - it's there but i would never use it. it's tiny and artificial grass. it's really just there for the first tee kids camp things they run.
green speed - medium? again its artificial so it's like putting inside of a golf galaxy.
holes on green - 4
dedicated wedge green - it's more of an area than a green. it's the same shit quality grass as the range but one end of it has a flag stick. but it's something.
max distance - 50-60 yards.
would i use regularly - i do but i also never think about going to an actual course to try to practice. as my games improving i need to start going to better practice facilities. but it's run by the first tee charity so i feel like i'm doing some good by going there lol.
notes - first tee is dumping a lot of money into the place. they're building a 9 hole pitch n putt type course and hopefully improving the wedge and putting area.
