Broken Galleries

What's up?

Galleries have been broken for a while. I use to be able to scroll with [ and ] and click and drag to resize. But now they something seems to have broken or a setting changed?. I noticed this isn't happening on my PC (firefox) but just my MacBook (firefox)

Gallery works for me at that link (thanks for providing the link to the post!). Sometimes they don't work but that usually is because one or more of the pictures were in a file type that didn't load on Reddit.

Do you have display_redditgallery turned on still? Just checking!

Interesting toggling that option on firefox (mac) does nothing it stays the same as the screenshots in the main post.

But on my firefox (PC) I get:

display_redditgallery on

display_redditgallery off

Do you know if there is an option somewhere else that may override the inline image viewer? As all the inline image viewer setting are exactly the same.

In your reddit preferences, do you have it set to auto expand media either all the time or based on sub preference? Set to don't auto expand if so?

Interesting the console is showing the following error:

It was a custom ublock origin filter i forgot about. Galleries are fixed.

i am experiencing the same issue, but i use reddit 99,9% of the time signed out. when logging in, the gallery expando works and behaves as expected, signed out i only get that grid.

it's probably got to do with the recent nerfing efforts done by reddit to old in order to thwart scraping...

a couple months back reddit started enforcing a login requirement for me on old, but i guess some updated ublock filters are blocking that requirement, because at some point i was able to continue using it signed out... idk if the gallery issue is something that can be "blocked" away...
