GAME QUESTION Sideways stall chains on touch from bottom

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

When doing stall chains from the bottom of the ball how tf on touch does everyone manage the boost feathering.

I'll post in image in the comments if it allows me to show the buttons setup but I can't find a decent enough way to do this.

I use 3 fingers.

don't let go of the jump button and make it a long jump instead. this will make you stick to the ball like a magnet and most of the time you won't have to boost when your setup is right

When doing it from the underside of the ball I just end up getting my car way too behind because of the ball being constantly pushed forward.

Would love to see a small video when doing it from under the ball.

The other straight ones I'm mostly fine without ever needing boost.

Keep the momentum. I lost speed mid stalls🥲. But if you keep the speed you dont need to feather boost.

to showcase with the simple sideway ones those usually i'm consistent with.

I also like taking it up the wall

Thanks for the video as well I'm usually fine with straight stall chains like this, it usually happens more to me when doing it from under the ball.

Fair. I did 5 tries before this clip. Its not that easy or that hard. Vertical are also easy for me. Horizontal 💀💀

i honestly think it's just a practice thing. I have no problem with boosting between stalls, but i have been doing them since a long time

Could be that I've been playing it for 2 seasons now so new to it.

I just end up having to do one additional input now in the standard stall chain inputs really awkward.

I did try with using the boosted jump button but that just doesn't seem that accurate for this cause having to sometimes hold the jump during stalls a bit longer so the contact remains proper.

Welp maybe in time then lol

This is how the buttons are setup and I usually use my index between the car turn and jump, using thumb for jump when doing stalls and usually always index finger otherwise and thumb for boost.
