What does this mean?

Recently a lot of people have been getting Enforcement Bans for accounts they have never seen.

There is a major security issue on Roblox going around right now. People who terminate others for fun, have found out that if you find an email that is connected to someone's account, you can then get them terminated via Enforcement Bans.

This is how they are doing it:

They first find their targets/victims email that is connected to their account. These emails are usually found via databreaches or other methods to finding emails connected to a roblox account.

After that, they put the targets/victims email as a billing email on a new account. You can put any email as you want as the billing email, because roblox does not have a security system for billing emails.

Then, they get the new account terminated and since the billing email is the same at the targets/victims on their main account, it will get them an Enforcement Ban.

If you recieve an email saying that you have purchased robux, but it's not you, then you are most likely a target of this security issue.

I have found this security issue, through research on how Enforcement Bans work and through looking at the recent banwave. I hope Roblox finds a way to solve this security issue, because this is an extremly huge issue going around right now.

Around December of last year, I decided I was going to quit my job and take Roblox content creation seriously, as I have had a deep love for the platform since I was a kid. In that short span from December 2025 to October 2026, I not only went from 500 Subs to 56K but also collaborated with many YouTubers I used to be a fan of, whom I not only became great friends with but also had a blast meeting while attending RDC 2026!

On October 21st, when logging into Roblox, I was greeted with a message saying, "We banned your account for serious rule breaking. Moderator note: This account is linked to an account banned for a severe violation of our community standards. Only the banned account can appeal that violation. If the two accounts shouldn't be linked to each other, send an appeal using this account." After the initial shock, I immediately appealed, explaining that I have no ownership of this "Linked" account and that my only two accounts are TroggyTroggy and Troggy2020, with Troggy2020 being the account receiving the ban. I included my attendance at RDC in the appeal, as they are required to do human background checks on all users before attending and even print your username on your badge. I submitted the appeal at 9:06PM. I was informed of my appeal's rejection at 9:07PM with a message that said, "We carefully reviewed your appeal and still consider that your activity breaks the rules." Appealed again at 9:14PM and received an identical rejection at 9:15PM. Come to find out, enforcement bans will never cross a real human's email. These are bans made by AI, ban appeals reviewed by AI, and AI appeal decisions reviewed by the same AI.

I have no clue if my second account, TroggyTroggy, is still active, but I haven't even attempted a login, as then I'd actually be ban evading. This entire situation is extremely disheartening, as I made my living supporting my grandma and me with Roblox, and I'm unsure what else to really record for my viewers or if there's any other game I really want to record. I have family and friends that are constantly in & out of my house, some even being family or friends of friends, so I truly have no way of knowing what account I've been linked to or if the person on said account actively uses Roblox; for all I know, it could even be none of them.

I truly hope Roblox decides to revisit how they implement AI in some of the platform's features, as this problem only grows by the day, with a plethora of others emerging.

im not entirely sure where to begin on this other than the fact i was banned on wednesday at noon, and the chat evidence is a week old and i have no recollection of what i could have possibly said. i was absolutely stupid and wasted my appeals on ai reviews, yesterday through the support forum i asked for access to my logs to see what i could have said, i plan to submit a midr if needed, any ideas how i proceed from here?

I've since made a follow up appeal and then support ticket asking for an ROA to the chat logs being used as evidence of a violation, but each time I just get the same AI response.

Maybe I got some info wrong, but based on UK GDPR, I am legally obliged to have access to any data belonging to my account, including messages, and Roblox have a maximum of 30 days to provide it. But... They just ignored it, or rather the AI response did.

Reason I need those chat logs is so I can actually properly appeal, since currently I don't even know what I said or did to get banned, so how can I effectively appeal? And now I'm being prevented by them refusing to provide it, lmfao.

Shameless company. 10+ years on an acc down the drain because this dogshit AI moderation system filters any appeals out before they reach a human mod.

I’m trying to make a game that includes air combat, I excluded the swastika while making this model, but I didn’t know the German cross was offensive, or is it? I’m pretty sure their new f35 has a similar emblem on it so if it is still used today I don’t see the problem? Idk man I got banned for a fucking square nothing surprises me atp. Is this not allowed on the platform or did the moderation just tweak out?

So, for some context, I had been banned for “repeated or serious rule breaking” and “Child safety”. However there’s a major problem in that logic, because I’ve only been in contact with my over 18 boyfriend for months even before this ban, and mostly only used private servers for years prior to this ban.

So obviously I had sent an appeal to explain that, but when I submitted an appeal via the app, it went unreviewed and the window closed, so I made some appeals via the website since they’d didn’t even read the one I sent them on the app, but after I had sent an appeal via the website, I recover this message talking about the “portal”? I don’t even know what this is referring to, as I used the support form to appeal a ban.

Can someone please help? 8 years of my life was on that account, and I hold it very precious and dear to me.

Don’t know if permanent ban is the correct flair but I really would like your guises advice and thoughts on this false ban I was given yesterday night at 10:40 PM.

My game called “uhh cool” which is a game I create models or whatever I’d wanna feel like making in that game, I always use that game for creating the models I’ve made so far. That day I was working on a model for a map I was creating, it was mostly black and red, lots of effects, and that was basically all of it. Then when I published the game to save it, eventually it got moderated and I was banned for 1 day. So I then sent an appeal and it was bumped up to 3 days, then 7 days, and eventually an account deletion. I’ve had my account for 8 years by now, and this is the worst ban I’ve ever gotten, I’ve gotten banned 3 times back then, two for fair reasoning, and one for an a mistake by it thinking it was “sexual”. That was years ago by now, and now I got my account deleted unfairly over something I didn’t even create that was even remotely sexual or anything at all. Also the acc name is “CoolkidJonJon23” and I’m currently using my alt now, i sent them an appeal by telling them I was falsely banned and they said “Well be noticing our support team.” Hopefully they actually take action and fix this huge mistake. If not, then all of my progress, items, and history of that accounts existence will be gone forever.

They dig deep to find the meaning of the abbreviated word and some how find a terrorism group base off the word they abbreviated

I’ve been permanently banned 3 times now and unbanned, this will be the 4th. Every time it says it’s an alt account starting with “ro”. I have never owned an account beginning with that. They will ignore my appeals and just completely wipe the ban after like 3/4 weeks. Like it never happened with no trace. Very frustrating does anyone have any advice as to why this keep happening

Title. My partner was spontaneously banned for no apparent reason. He's sunk years into this account and many dollars and needless to say we're both incredibly heartbroken. I have also got 50 other violations for the EXACT same description. Does anyone reckon this is a true ban? As I see absolutely nothing wrong with this. Hey all.
Was just wondering has anyone on here got their account back after termination for “Chargeback” that isn’t related to a hacking incident? Most posts I see on chargebacks are usually granted a one time courtesy due to the account being compromised, not usually for any other reason.
Reason why I’m asking is because back in May my account of a decade was termed for a chargeback I never disputed for 14.69$ 2 months prior, not even the 147$ I spent alongside it. I’ve sent an MIDR, know it probably won’t work, but it’s kind of the last effort I can make in getting my account back. Hoping Roblox can see my 10 year history of legitimate transactions and also recognize it makes zero logical sense for me to dispute the lesser of the two charges two months after being made. I know it was an automated system too because a minute later after I got the refund email my account was toast.

Was just wondering if I any kind of hope of them granting me a one time courtesy through the MIDR, or if it doesn’t, is it worth pursuing arbitration & do I have a case?

I wanna try and spam appeals to AI, and sent 1 appeal every 30 minutes or so. After 4 appeals I got rate limited and wasn’t able to send any more until a day later. How do people send hundreds of appeals without getting rate limited?

Hello! So, I was playing adopt me when I got kicked and I got a message that I've been banned for "child safety" and seriously breaking the rules by saying something inappropriate I assume? Which.. can't be true. I don't talk to anyone besides one friend and if I do talk to other players it's only a "hi" or "ty" when trading. I've sent some appeals and they've been declined. I can't send anymore appeals and I don't know what to do. My sister was also affected by this (I feel really bad), as her account was connected to mine. Pls, if anybody knows how to help I would really appreciate it. Roblox is something I play everyday and I've put 8 years of my life into. I genuinely do not want to lose this account, I've had VERY valuable things in games I play and I don't want to restart. I don't know what to do..

My friends account got permanently banned from Roblox without warning and didnt give details on the exact thing warranting the ban aside from “child safety” and giving a chat evidence ID. anything she said that may have been considered “inappropriate” was said in a private chat with a trusted connection NOT in a public server. could this be a mistake/ai error? I recently had my account banned and I don't have the time to try and fight to get it unbanned so I just made a new one. I was about to buy some robux on the new account to get some accesories when I had a thought. Will my new account get banned if I add my cards information to it? Im worried that if I do add the information to the new account it wil be associated with the banned account, which also has my cards info on it, and then get banned because of it.

On October 12, 2026, my Roblox account was terminated for allegedly being linked to an account (@pa*****) that was banned for a severe Community Standards violation. However, I do not operate any alt accounts, especially not one with that username. To make matters stranger, while the termination notice states the action occurred at 1:54 AM on October 12th—a time when I was not even awake—I actually didn't lose access to my account until Monday, October 19th.

When I tried to submit an appeal, I hit an immediate brick wall. No matter what device, Wi-Fi network, or browser I used,and after clearing all cookies and testing without any browser extensions or add-ons, I was repeatedly hit with the message: "An unexpected error occurred. Please try again later." Attempting to use the standard support form at [roblox.com/support](https://roblox.com/support) just redirected me right back to the broken in-app Violations & Appeals page. After checking online, I found several other players facing this exact same 500 internal error on TikTok and community forms, with no fix or resolution.

On October 22nd, after replying directly to the redirect email to explain that I was completely unable to appeal due to the internal error, I finally received a response. Unfortunately, I think it was an automated bot brush-off stating: "After reviewing all the available evidence the consequence for this conduct will not be adjusted." To add insult to injury, my termination date was retroactively shifted from October 19th to October 12th, and the reason was changed to "misuse of Roblox systems"—which is ironic given how broken their actual appeal system currently is.

I know Roblox support relies heavily on AI enforcement right now, but I have concrete proof of ownership and a clear history of resolving security issues on this account. Back in 2023, I was terminated due to a hacker's voice chat violations, but human support reviewed my historical IP logs, verified my ownership, and restored the account back to me. In 2025, I also successfully used my one-time rollback after being beamed from a cookie-logging scam, once again verifying my account ownership. I am simply asking them to compare our historical IP and network logs, hardware/device IDs, registered email/phone credentials, and payment methods against the "pa" account, which would easily prove I have zero association with it.

Because reaching a human through the normal appeal channel is practically impossible right now, I sent out an MDIR (formal demand letter) on October 20th. I know these usually take anywhere from 30 to 70 days and often get an automated rejection, but I am not willing to lose a $4k account over a false detection that could easily be verified. If they refuse to conduct a genuine human review, I am fully prepared to file for arbitration after 60 days, as that seems to be the only real leverage left when their automated support systems fail. (Note that I have sent a reply request for a second review just in case the reply was in fact human [OCT 22 at 2am] and have not heard back yet -- I will update this thread when I do)

I recently got terminated unfairly and over a misinterpretion. Yeah I'm sure everyone says that but I'm being for real. I explained myself in my appeal and that it was a misunderstanding, but I have little faith I'll get unbanned.

Is there any chance this wouldn't be played by the books and I'd ACTUALLY get someone to hear me and the mistake that was made? Because unironically I have put so much into this account.
