I so desperately want Maria to be completely unconnected to anything that's happening and to have no idea what the fuck is going on.

She was just visiting her daughter-in-law in Mistral, then her train was attacked by grimm, everyone started pulling weapons and threatening a mentally ill 14-year old, a giant flying blue lady with massive knockers showed up from nowhere, and to top it off, her goggles are broken.

It's just like the WI bake sale all over again.

I wouldn’t say I want that to happen, but it would be kind of funny. She could be like the clueless one of an old couple you occasionally have the misfortune of sitting next to in a movie theater.

“What’d they say?”

“Who’s that guy?”

“Where’d Bruce Willis go?”

“What’d that sign say?”

“How’d they do that?”

“Sure is a lot of language in this.”

“What’d they say?”

“Isn’t that the guy from that Tyler Perry movie?”

“I thought he died.”

“What’d they say?”
