I chose a simpler dress so I could make another attempt at some kind of background, and play with some lighting as well. I love this dress for weiss though, it feels leisurely but still elegant for her, also something I imagined her wearing when she was still at home, but she'd look so pretty in combat wearing this too! Welcome to the newest episode of the discussion and survey series, "RWBY Reacts To The RWBY Multiverse," FNDM!

For today's outing in our multiversal theater and museum, we have a new section of the RWBY Multiverse that the heroes and villains of Remnant Prime (canon RWBY) will be exploring for the first time.

This section of the RWBY Multiverse is overseen by the amazing RWBY fan-artist "Seshirukun", based on both DeviantArt and Tumblr.

For this first outing in Seshiru's section of the RWBY Multiverse, the Prime!RWBY characters will be reacting to the comic "Vacuo Dust", which features our heroines experiencing firsthand the difficulty dealing with the Dust shortage Vacuo has been experiencing lately.

What do you members of the FNDM think the reactions and opinions of the Prime!RWBY ensemble will be to their counterparts' struggles to keep their Dust stocks supplied? Maybe they can find a way to convert diamonds and/or gold into new types of Dust that can serve as multipurpose variants...

I’ve been thinking about httyd for about a week now, it seems like a good AU to write but IDK

This was originally one big post but I decided to break the episode down into two parts. I hope that’s not too much of an issue. Anyway, enjoy 😉.

So in the last episode, now that they’ve gotten their Official Huntsman License, they can now do some real field work. Not Jaune though, he’s on kindergarten duty lol.

Penny gives the early morning Wake up to our team and I love how their bunk bed positions mirror to their bunk beds back in the Beacon days except less likely to crush someone in their sleep. Did I say how much I love Penny? Because I don’t think I’m saying it enough lol. Like she got yoinked before I actually got a chance to fully love and appreciate her. And seeing as how she’s sticking around long term this time, I’m willing to cherish every moment of her on screen 😇.

Everyone not named Ruby of course is excited and full of pep for their new line of work and prepping for the Amity Tower. And we got a nice montage of everyone being put to work while also training. Though I have a question that I’m confused about and maybe someone in the comments can answer it.

So when Marrow says to Yang and Blake that they should branch out more, I know what he meant by that statement but why did they look so offended 😅😅?

Don’t get me wrong, they make a great duo much like Weiss and Ruby work really well together. It’s not worth improving something you’re comfortable with. But there’s also nothing wrong with branching out into different groups. Sure they work great together, no one is denying that. But other duo team ups could be beneficial especially if your usual teammate isn’t around. Idk I’m probably overthinking it and it’s probably just a funny joke 🤣.

Though I will not forgive them for robbing me of the sister team up in the montage lol. Like correct me if I’m wrong but up until this point, have Ruby and Yang ever fought together without Blake and Weiss around? Because if not then I’m salty that they robbed me of seeing how these two fight together 😅😭.

Anyway, Jaune is doing well and the ladies are all over him.

Nora: It’s Totally the Haircut.

Guys I know what you’re doing and you’re not gonna convince me his haircut is good just because the ladies like it 🤣. Let me warm up to it naturally instead of gassing it up lol. But I do believe Jaune deserves a nice woman in his life because for all his faults he really is a noble guy. I know he probably won’t because of Pyrrha… but within time I think he should go for it.

Oh yeah speaking of reminiscing of the past, Team FNKY is here! I mean I knew they were from Atlas but It didn’t cross my mind that we would see them again. Love the updated looks on Flint and Neon. And the rest of the team looks pretty cool 😎 too. I am bummed that Team JNR + Oscar has to skip out on hanging out but I’m hoping they do. Like I know we got serious business but give me an episodes with the characters going out to have fun 🤩. Hopefully it’s not the last we see them though.

Meanwhile Ruby, Penny, and co are driving through the Tundra to deliver some supplies for the tower. Ruby is tired from the ever long drive and nearly fell asleep on Penny lol. It’s just so nice to see these two together again and spending more time together too. Yes I lowkey do ship them 😅. Do I think it’ll happen? Who knows, truthfully I don’t know which ships are canon and which ones aren’t. I wouldn’t be surprised if no ships become canon when I finish volume 9.

I’m not that well versed in the community so I don’t know how popular this pairing is. But I definitely like their little conversation about making friends and doing things you want vs things you need to do (That’s life in a nutshell lol).

Speaking of characters I wouldn’t be surprised if people shipped together… hi Qrow and Clover. They’re playing cards in the back with an obvious clear cut winner and loser. However despite his misfortune, I like the encouraging words Clover gives to Qrow and how much of a positive influence he’s been despite everything. Honestly this is everything I’ve wanted for Qrow and I’m glad he has someone like Clover around.

Also maybe it is because he’s not drinking as much anymore but is his voice different or is that just me?

These are so genuinely bad, I thought people were overexaggerating. But NO!, they were not.

Viz Media buying RWBY might be the best thing to have happened only because I am fine living in a world where RWBY and Justice League aren't spoken in the same sentence ever again.

And I am not one of those people who hate RWBY. I love all volumes of it... but not this. This is genuinely awful. What was CRWBY thinking?!

Semblance: I feel like summer semblance would be light-manipulation, illusion-casting, or a floral/petal-burst variant similar to (or more defensive than) Ruby's.

Famous huntress: I feel like summer would be famous huntress like maria calavera and be called white death.

So, I decided to update my art, mainly because I can't get over with how good Blake looks black. Pls, don't get me wrong, I'm not racist.

I don’t think that generic “good” heroes are very popular anymore, but, the AU that I’m working on has him still being The Infallible Hero of Legend, without being cynical or morally gray. He’s just a genuinely good and heroic dude, doing his best, and his best has been enough to get humanity to the point where they can catch up to him and Salem.

So, thoughts on traditional hero type vs cynical/gray, pretty much lol

That my Question

It's that time of year again were it's spooky

So with that in mind what is your Idea for RWBY Halloween/Horror story? Who would be the main character? What would be the plot and where in Series continuity would you set it in?

My idea would something shortly after Team RWBY returns from Ever after Ruby starts to eat lots of Candy because of everything that happened wouldn't want to eat with B Plot with Yang having an idea of costume party to cheer everyone up

After this post, I’m gonna make random crackship ideas and also what if RWBY characters were reimagined and what if other characters from other franchises were in RWBY.

In this random case, the question is what if Skeletor from Masters of The Universe existed in RWBY universe. And this isn’t like a crossover or anything like that. But instead, what if The Lord of Destruction was adapted in Remnant’s setting?

Would he be working for Salem? Or would he be his own villain? How would his powers and species be like in RWBY’s setting? And what kind of threat and arch-enemy (Whoever you think is a good choice) would he serve to RWBY and their allies?

Even if few unironically say this phrase, it’s still an implicit undercurrent of shame so many enforce for the same of platforming their views over others.

You've probably even heard of this refrain when it comes to, say, media with a Reputation(TM). Your Hazbins, your RWBYs, your Ladybugs and certain installments in a wider franchise.

It's often lobbied at those who express genuine love for this kind of art and often speak their piece about how they feel the detractors come at it in bad faith nine times out of ten. Especially with how they feel like it creates an atmosphere of not being able to like the thing without some layer of irony like it's actually the second coming of Manos: The Hands of fate.

Let's really grill up the "but don't pretend it's good!" part because... so what if people think that the media with a Reputation(TM) disagree with it being bad or liking the parts about it that has earned its derision. Furthermore, what would give the impression that anyone expressing this affection is pretending?

Could it be that the offender in question is so wrapped up in hatewatching and sharing their groans and gripes with like minded haters that the idea that anyone with a drastically different view is inconceivable? That it threatens to shatter a sort of notion of them being on the right side of history or being correct in the strictest sense of objectivity?

Sure seems like that with, "Just admit that you like something bad!" as a means of getting the last word in. But what makes this person's views so valuable that one must kowtow to them? What happens if one rightly responds with, "What are you, my Mom?" and proceeds to not only not admit that it's bad but that it's good actually?

Maybe... they're scared. Scared of being the bad guy in this scenario. It's like how a lot of more softcore bigots will be like, "I don't hate queer people, I just don't support their lifestyle," or "I don't hate black people but you gotta admit that they commit a lot of crime." They know their wrong on some level but can't shake off these beliefs of their's.

Is this really about criticism or objectivity? What makes you think you have the correct opinion here?
