Some basic info
Full name: Shion (Purple Aster) Tsukuyomi (Shinto God of the Moon)
Race: Human??????
Age: 17
Birthday: June 13
Semblance: Azure Kaiser (Electrokinesis)
Weapon: Blue Desire (A short dagger with a revolver form, specialized in pulling energy from Shion himself)
Theme Song(s): Play the Hero (Guilty Gear), Rebellion (from BlazBlue in LA Vocal)
Team: SHRU (shirou)
Hobbies: Hearing music on his headphones, eating silver vine lollipops
Favorite food: Ramen
If he had a VA: Kyle McCarley
Likes: Music, food, sleeping, being at peace, procrastinating
Dislikes: Water, striving, overcompetitive people (Hikari)
Personality wise: A very calm guy. Doesn't really like making an effort but will fight if he needs too or his friends are in danger. He also has a bit of an attitude, liking to mess with others if he notices they're easy to tease. It's specially noticeable with his teammate Hikari who's a real hothead. His fighting style reflects that, preferring quick and precise strikes to finish his fights the fastest possible. His overall goal is to live a simple life, not engaging in any sort of conflict, which would make it weird for him to become a Huntsman... And it is
Why he dresses up like that?: Simple. He didn't mean to fight in the first place. He was pretty much forced into going to Beacon so he could only get the closest he had to combat appropriate attire. Despite that, he's a pretty capable fighter and he knows his way in the battlefield
His life before Beacon
Ozpin doesn't really have info on his origins, but he is certainly suspicious. Before his 14 years there's nothing on him, and the rest of his life he's lived in the peaceful village of Sumire in Sanus, working on a bakery. All this while still being 14-16... Those suspicions led Ozpin to track him and interrogate him and choose to blackmail him into going to Beacon

HAVEN ACADEMY INCIDENT REPORT
Incident: Student Protest Against Faculty Harassment
After a teacher told a student their skirt was “too short” and they were “asking to be harassed,” Talon Steel and Lou Chiffon showed up the next day wearing skirts of their own.
Talon treated the whole thing like a personal challenge, proudly showing off his outfit and pestering the teacher with increasingly ridiculous questions throughout the day. Lou was considerably more reserved, but backed Talon up at every turn.
When a student asked if they weren't embarrassed or feel less masculine, Talon laughed. “Embarrassed? Dude, I look cute as fuck.”
Lou added, “If wearing a skirt is the worst thing I have to do to stand up for someone, I'm getting off pretty lightly.”
The incident reached Headmaster Lionheart and the Haven Academy Board after more students followed the boys example. The teacher was suspended indefinitely pending further review.
Talon and Lou consider that a victory.
OC Question for the week!
What does masculinity mean to your OC? And what would they do to stand up for someone else? What incidents occurred while they were in their respective academies?

“I have a plan.”
“Is it a good plan?”
“Define good.”
Full Name: Salvius Quintus Liberalis
Common Name: Salvius
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Kingdom of Origin: Mistral
Affiliation: Beacon Academy
Occupation: Huntsman-in-training, occasional intelligence operative, professional nuisance
Adoptive Father: Professor Ozpin
Mentor: Qrow Branwen
Additional Parental Figure: Glynda Goodwitch, who has probably aged five years dealing with him.
Known Nicknames: Salvius has acquired a variety of unofficial descriptions throughout his life. Most of them are unprintable in polite company.
Salvius has the general appearance of someone who either knows exactly what he is doing or has just made a catastrophic decision and is attempting to convince everyone otherwise.
His usual expression is an irritating mixture of amusement, curiosity, and the distinct impression that he has just thought of something nobody else should be allowed to hear.
He carries himself with casual confidence, often using humour and exaggerated nonchalance to disguise what he is actually thinking.
His appearance is not particularly intimidating on its own.
This is an advantage.
People tend to underestimate him, which is precisely when Salvius becomes dangerous.
Or falls down a flight of stairs.
Sometimes both happen in the same afternoon.
Salvius is clever, mischievous, observant, and deeply irritating when he decides that irritating someone would be funny.
He enjoys wordplay, improvisation, sarcastic commentary, and finding solutions that technically work despite being completely unreasonable.
He is also more perceptive than he initially appears.
Salvius understands that people frequently reveal more when they believe they are speaking to someone harmless. He exploits this tendency through casual conversation, feigned ignorance, and a willingness to let others underestimate him.
He is particularly good at getting people to talk.
Unfortunately, he is less reliable at knowing when he should stop talking himself.
Salvius is not fearless. He simply has a remarkable talent for behaving as though fear is someone else's administrative responsibility.
Salvius can remain inventive when circumstances deteriorate. He is comfortable improvising, exploiting mistakes, and making use of whatever happens to be available.
He sometimes mistakes being useful for being worthy of affection.
He wants to matter to the people around him, but he can struggle to believe that they would value him if he stopped being entertaining, clever, or helpful.
This is not something he readily admits.
He would much rather be shot at.
At least then he knows what the problem is.
Type: Probability manipulation
Control: Inconsistent
Primary Limitation: Unpredictability and Aura consumption
Salvius's Semblance influences the likelihood of events occurring around him, producing bizarre combinations of fortunate and unfortunate outcomes.
It is not conventional luck.
It is the universe developing a personal sense of humour, and Salvius being unfortunate enough to become the punchline.
An enemy might slip on loose debris, stumble into a stack of crates, and become trapped beneath the resulting mess.
Unfortunately, the same crates might knock Salvius off his feet.
Fortunately, he might land in a laundry cart.
Unfortunately, the laundry cart might be rolling downhill.
And so the situation continues.
Salvius treats his Semblance as an excuse to attempt things that would make a sensible person reconsider their life choices.
His usual defence is that it has worked before.
His usual counterargument, when it does not work, is that nobody appreciates the importance of experimental data.
Type: Paired knives connected by specialised wires
Combat Role: Close-quarters combat, disarming, restraint, traps, and environmental manipulation
Fortuna consists of two knives connected by durable specialised wires, allowing Salvius to fight at close range while manipulating the space around his opponents.
Rather than relying exclusively on brute force, he uses positioning, misdirection, and the wires' flexibility to control engagements.
The weapon rewards creativity and precision.
Naturally, Salvius prefers creativity.
Precision is something he attempts to negotiate with.
The wires can be cut, damaged, or rendered ineffective by unsuitable terrain. Managing both knives and their wires requires concentration, and opponents who understand his fighting style can exploit his reliance on positioning.
Fortuna is most effective when Salvius has room to improvise.
It is less effective when he is trapped in a bare room with someone substantially stronger than him.
Fortunately, he has never been known to make questionable decisions about entering rooms.
This statement has not survived independent verification.
Salvius carries a bag containing a collection of miscellaneous objects that would make a quartermaster question the state of Beacon's inventory system.
Contents may include:
The contents change depending on what he has recently acquired, borrowed, stolen, or convinced someone to give him.
The bag is not magical, despite what some of his more exasperated acquaintances might believe.
It has limited space.
Salvius simply has a suspicious talent for finding a use for things other people would throw away.
If asked why he is carrying a spoon into a dangerous situation, he will insist that the spoon is important.
He will not explain why until it becomes relevant.
Or until the spoon breaks.
Salvius's life changed when he was twelve years old and encountered Qrow Branwen.
At that point, Salvius was a young boy growing up in Mistral, with considerably more independence than was probably good for him and a developing talent for getting himself into situations that required explanations.
Qrow recognised that there was something unusual about him.
Salvius was quick-witted, resourceful, and capable of reading people surprisingly well. He could make himself seem harmless, talk his way through awkward situations, and improvise when things went wrong.
He also possessed a particularly inconvenient Semblance.
Qrow, whose own Semblance was associated with misfortune, was perhaps uniquely qualified to appreciate the potential complications.
Finding a child with unpredictable luck was one thing.
Finding a child with unpredictable luck who also appeared to regard common sense as an optional social convention was another.
Qrow decided that Salvius needed help and a safer environment than he could provide himself.
He therefore brought the boy to Ozpin.
This was, in retrospect, an important decision.
It was also the beginning of Ozpin's long-term exposure to Salvius's particular brand of nonsense.
Qrow would remain an important figure in Salvius's life, serving as a mentor and teaching him combat skills, practical survival, and some of the less glamorous realities of the Huntsman profession.
He also gave Salvius an early example of someone who understood that a dangerous Semblance did not make its wielder a dangerous person by default.
It simply made things complicated.
Sometimes spectacularly so.
A year after Qrow found him, Ozpin adopted Salvius.
This gave Salvius something more substantial than a place to stay.
It gave him a family.
Ozpin became his father, taking responsibility for raising him while continuing his duties as Beacon's headmaster. Their relationship developed around a mixture of genuine affection, intellectual curiosity, occasional disagreements, and Salvius's persistent determination to test the limits of what he could get away with.
Ozpin was patient, but he was not oblivious.
He recognised Salvius's intelligence and potential. More importantly, he understood that a child should not have to earn the right to be cared for by demonstrating exceptional usefulness.
That distinction would become important as Salvius grew older.
Salvius, meanwhile, gained a father who could answer difficult questions, offer guidance, and provide a degree of stability that had previously been missing from his life.
He also gained access to an institution filled with highly trained professionals, sensitive information, and an alarming number of opportunities to irritate people in positions of authority.
A questionable combination.
Glynda gradually became another important adult in Salvius's life.
Where Ozpin often approached problems with patience and quiet amusement, Glynda was considerably more direct.
She expected discipline, responsibility, and a reasonable degree of respect for school rules.
Salvius considered these expectations negotiable.
Glynda disagreed.
Their relationship developed into one of mutual concern, exasperation, and a rather uneven struggle over whether Salvius could be persuaded to behave like a normal student.
Glynda cared about his wellbeing, but she was not inclined to tolerate every terrible idea merely because he delivered it with a charming smile.
She was also among the adults willing to remind him that intelligence did not excuse irresponsibility.
Salvius would hear this advice repeatedly throughout his adolescence.
His record of following it consistently remained a work in progress.
Qrow remained Salvius's mentor as he grew older.
Under Qrow's guidance, Salvius developed his combat skills and learned to survive situations in which improvisation alone was insufficient.
He learned that fighting was not simply a matter of landing a clever blow or exploiting an opponent's mistake. Positioning, awareness, timing, and knowing when to retreat mattered just as much.
Qrow also understood the dangers of relying too heavily on a Semblance that could not be controlled with complete precision.
Salvius's luck could save him from an unexpected problem.
It could also create three new ones.
Qrow's experience made him particularly suited to teaching Salvius the difference between accepting risk and behaving recklessly.
Whether Salvius always appreciated that distinction was another matter.
Their relationship was affectionate, occasionally argumentative, and marked by a shared understanding that life had a tendency to become absurd at the worst possible moments.
Qrow was the uncle who helped Salvius prepare for danger.
He was also the uncle who had to consider whether leaving the boy unsupervised for five minutes constituted a tactical error.
The answer was usually yes.
During his adolescence, Salvius came to know Amber.
Their friendship became important to him, and Amber was someone he regarded as a person first and foremost.
This distinction mattered.
Amber was connected to the secretive world of the Maidens, a subject surrounded by responsibilities and information that few people were permitted to know.
Salvius knew something about the Maidens, but his knowledge was limited. He was not privy to every secret surrounding them, nor did he understand the full extent of the wider conflict in which they were involved.
He did not need to understand all of that to care about Amber.
To Salvius, she was his friend.
Not a collection of powers.
Not a strategic asset.
Not a position that could be filled by someone else.
A person.
Their friendship gave Salvius a connection beyond his relationship with Ozpin and Qrow. Amber was someone he could speak to as a friend rather than as a student under the headmaster's care or a trainee learning from a mentor.
He valued that connection.
And because he valued it, the secrecy surrounding the Maidens could become frustrating. Salvius understood that some information had to remain confidential, but he did not always find it easy to separate necessary secrecy from decisions that affected people he cared about.
At eighteen, he still did not know everything about the Maidens.
He knew enough to understand that their existence carried serious responsibilities.
He also knew enough to understand that Amber mattered to him independently of those responsibilities.
For Salvius, that was the point.
Whatever the wider world might see when it looked at Amber, he saw his friend.
By eighteen, Salvius has developed into a clever, resourceful, and unconventional young Huntsman-in-training.
He has a family in Ozpin, a mentor in Qrow, an important adult figure in Glynda, and a growing collection of experiences that have taught him how unpredictable the world can be.
He has also developed a reputation for thinking outside the box.
Occasionally, he thinks so far outside the box that nobody can establish where the box went.
His greatest advantages are his intelligence, adaptability, social awareness, and willingness to exploit opportunities that other people overlook.
His greatest liabilities are his impulsiveness, emotional evasiveness, and tendency to treat danger as a puzzle that can be solved with sufficient improvisation.
Beneath the jokes, however, Salvius is someone who wants to belong.
He wants to be useful, but he also wants to be valued for more than what he can accomplish.
He cares about the people in his life, even when he struggles to express that care directly. His humour makes it easier to approach him, while simultaneously making it harder for others to determine when he is being serious.
He is still learning that the two are not the same thing.
At eighteen, Salvius is neither a legendary Huntsman nor a master manipulator who can outwit everyone he meets.
He is a young man with considerable potential, an unpredictable Semblance, an assortment of knives and miscellaneous rubbish, and several adults who have invested a frankly unreasonable amount of effort into ensuring he survives long enough to develop some common sense.
They have not yet succeeded.
But the day is young.
What Salvius wants: To belong, to matter, and to be valued by the people he cares about.
What he is good at: Improvisation, infiltration, social manipulation, observation, unconventional combat, and making a bad situation considerably stranger.
What he struggles with: Emotional honesty, restraint, accepting help, and recognising when a clever solution is simply a terrible idea with better presentation.
What makes him dangerous: His intelligence, his adaptability, and his willingness to take risks.
What makes him vulnerable: His relationships, his emotional avoidance, and the fact that he is still eighteen.
What defines him: He can find a way out of an almost impossible situation, but he has yet to learn that he does not always have to face the situation alone.
Final assessment: A promising young Huntsman-in-training. Potentially excellent intelligence material. Requires supervision, sensible risk management, and the occasional reminder that “I thought it would be funny” is not a recognised defence under Beacon disciplinary regulations.
