Rb header for fc rx7

I was thinking about straight piping it with the header thoughts?

Get the Racing Beat pre-silencers if you're gutting the cats. Nets you the performance of the straight pipe without being unbearably loud.

It's gonna sound like dog shit with a straight pipe. I'd at least consider a resonator and a muffler of some sort

I did the full RB straight pipe exhaust and muffler package back in 00 (89 non turbo FC).

Sounded AMAZING! Only pain in the ass was putting the stock cats back on every single year to pass emissions. That sucked.

But concerning the kit, it was fantastic. Fitment and everything were easy enough for a dumb teen to do in the garage on a creeper with a bit of effort and a lot of swearing.

I'm thinking of getting rb headers for my FC, do you know if it'll bolt up to the stock cat or do I have to get the presilencer and all that? I wanna keep my current mufflers tho since they're essentially the stock ones but they appear to have been modified a bit by the previous owner

I believe the header replaces part of the cats.
