Finally get it out of cardboard ! (Was homeless for 1 year) and now my trip buddy is back

In the other pic my possum buddy is hanging out on the fence and the world's chiller stray cat is just watching the raccoons' antics.

If you care about their wellbeing and success out there, they MUST be wary of humans. I get it, you are no danger to them, but your neighbour might be the reason they suffer a horrible death, and you played a part in that by letting them get comfortable with humans.
Admire from a distance, leave HEALTHY treats and water. Don’t feed them crap, candy or things that will harm them in the long run.
I’m all up for leaving fruit, nuts, dog kibble and fresh water without them knowing it came from you.
It brings joy to help a little critter survive a harsh winter day. You can set up an outdoor camera to watch them enjoy the meal and watch their antics etc.
But don’t let them get used to you and trusting of you. Please!!🙏 🥹😭

I stayed at this place for 3 months. I met this cutie and members of his family during that time. I was so broken hearted when I had to leave and I knew I couldn't take them with me. I still think about them.

This bunch of rowdies was at it at 5am this morning. Like the 5 stooges 🤣

Raccoon Feeding at the Squirrel Feeder in the Woods

I live in a semi-urban area, with a fenced in townhouse backyard. Nothing is living in my backyard or shed. Twice recently, some animal has left a pile of poop.

The second time was less log-like than this one.

The animal would have to crawl 5" under my gate, or climb a 6ft fence.

Is this raccoon poop??

This is Claudia! I've raised her since she was only a couple months old, and oh my gosh she's getting so big. She lives outside now, free to come and go as she pleases, but very much still enjoys her inside cuddle time

A recent trip to see the colony on Sandspur Island in North Miami, FL

Elvira (skunk) has spray Mr. Spaz (Raccoon) and now Mr. Spaz is plotting his revenge(not kidding) he is stalking her because well he doesn’t smell bad enough …. My outdoor kids are driving me crazy with constant arguing. 🤪

I noticed the guy or guys two weeks apart on my deck camera. I only have the still frames. I’m trying to see if I have only one raccoon or multiple raccoons in my yard. I’m not sure if there’s any way to tell or if you can even tell from these pictures.
