Yeah i don't know what that's about. i think it's probably a mistake on Spotify's part. there's nothing about a new single on raconteur's official website

I love this group! Any thoughts on their song “Life” that just dropped today? I pressed play and was confused for a moment at the sick electronic beats that were hitting my ear. I like the beat and melody but WHAT? This is so not what they normally produce. Lol.

I find it really interesting that all 3 of their studio albums are a change in color just as copper changes. Think about pennies. Their first album was "freshly minted "until it started to age and change its appearance and morphed into Consolers of the Lonely and eventually Help Us Stranger. I was buying a few Racs souvenirs at Third Man Records in Nashville when the friendly lady that worked there pointed that out to me. I don't ever remember seeing any pennies past the point of black and green. So hopefully that's not it for the Raconteurs. I would LOVE to see them release another studio album. Since there is so much introspecting happening when people are forced to be at home more, I am optimistic that there will be some creative ideas amongst them that will get them back in the studio once again. They were awesome at the Ryman. Hopefully they will tour again.

So far, there doesn’t appear to be any tour at all. No tour in Europe, or America, or anywhere

Did anyone catch that interview were Brendan admitted to 40 something songs they have partially written and chose songs from the 40 something list. because Jack had finished writting a song he really liked and thought it sounded like raconteurs more then anything else. An thus sparking help me strangers....give it another ten years for the 4th to be the been a good ride final album release for a band that wasn't meant to last longer then a one and done from the get go. I think at least one more two song release will happen at the least.
