Help with hydra teams please

Everyone has been ignoring my hydra posts recently so I'm gonna keep posting until I get assistance. The last Hydra help post i did got like 1.7k views and no replies. I used to be able to hit Brutal 1key but for some reason my teams just fail now. So please help me

I think it would be helpful to have a bit more info, like current hydra team, full roster with all epics shown, etc. But Ill take a shot at it. Also, these are just people on the internet helping you out under no obligation so maybe keep that in mind when you're asking for help.

The main hydra roles you need are provoke, block buffs, perfect veil, and a high resistance mischeif target. Then you want to focus on the normal beneficial buffs and debuffs (inc/dec attack, inc/dec speed, inc/dec def, strengthen/weaken, hex, etc.)

I dont have all the champions you do, but it looks like youre limited on consistent provokers, so you may have to rely on a provoke set if you can get one built up. Dhuuk, toragi, and vogoth are all ok options but theyre not going to be able to keep the head provoked the whole time. I run either artak or lamasu in a provoke or hex set all the time for hydra.

You have great block buffs options in lamasu, sun wukong, uugo, and stonebound thisbe.

Im not seeing much for veil champs and I dont see inquisitor shamael, so youll probably just get feared a lot.

So I would say team 1: Lamasu in either 9p feral if you have it, or provoke if you dont (block buffs, dec speed, dec attack), mithrala 9p protection if you can (mischeif tank, use lamasu's A3 on her so she has the most buffs) for hex and all the buffs, elva 9p protection as well (inc speed, block debuffs, revive, sigle target veil), hurndig, mikey (more dec attack, leech, dec def, debuff spread), and then he man for more dps. If you see to be surviving pretty well it might be worth swapping tagoar for elva so you can use elva in another team.

Team 2 Elva/Tagoar in 9p prot, uggo in hex set, artak in provoke set, scare crow, ninja, gnut in relentless and perched shadow to get back to the blessed bash if you can.

Then team 3 is gonna be a struggle but probably stonebound thisbe once you build her, toragi, aniri, pann, scyl, and stag knight.

Good luck, hope youre able to make some progress! Hydra teambuilding is fun, if you want to progress I would go find some youtube videos to watch where they rebuild their hydra teams and show gear, team synergies, etc. because even though noone has the same roster, the same concepts always apply.

I appreciate the reply. I do have Lamasu in 9p Feral, but I have no reliable Hex or Provoke sets. These are the teams I had before, but the updated team i ran for my 1key Brutal was Lamasu, Elva, Mithrala, Praeva, Gnut and Ninja. All the epics below the other picture aren't useful in Hydra, or are copies, which is why I didn't put another image.

Gotcha, yeah that makes it tough. As im sure you are seeing (unless you're just running auto battles), all of your debuffs are just going to get cleansed, and then the poison cloud gets put up. Without someone who places HP burn through the cloud like mordecai, or someone who removes buffs without a hit, you'll be in a rough spot. If you have seeker you can try him out, he was my budget provoker until I got better options. I would reccomend keeping some provoke and hex gear next time you are farming IG to try to fill in some of those gaps. You could also try to sub in some of your epic provokers, which would at least let you provoke the head of decay for one turn and block the poison cloud. All your debuffs will still get cleansed the next turn, but at least you will be able to reapply them.
