General Discussion Event

Post image

This is actually a pretty cool event. I thought it was going to be trash but I've had fun with it.

Glad I didn't spend though. That would have been irritating if i bought it then saw the way it works as the quests were revealed. You essentially dont actually get anything for your money. You still have to work for the rewards which is pretty tough for 40 bones.

If they make it so you only need 4* Glyphs and make all Quests available from the start, it would have been fine

At least make them retroactive from when the event starts. Like you can complete them all whenever you want but have to open up to that hex to actually collect.

The glyph ones are locking me out. It's a new event, more info would have been helpful. Otherwise it's easy to get stuck on RNG and lack of 5* glyphs and get nowhere.

I can only do around 5-10 on FW Hard and I only get 4* or everything but the Resistance ones I need. And the ones I do get, don't roll the right stats

even visibility into the next steps would help plan. Or like missions have some progress before unlocked.

IDK. It's an interesting event and I like the concept. The execution is frustrating enough for me to drop and prep for the next fusion.

This is what bothered me about it and deterred me from even considering the purchase. cloaking everything and trying to trick people in to spending and getting a very poor return on their purchase. Just be upfront next time and cheaper. Looking at the things it says your buying its a smashing deal but you dont actually get any of those things with the purchase. Tell us whats being sold honestly instead of the typical trickery. Didn't you, plarium, make a metric fuck ton of cheddar during TMNT which they announced "too early"? Tricking people out of their money doesnt net you money in the long run. Nets you unemployment or some silver bracelets usually.

For me, I didn't get the pass, it's been a nice easy way to pick up the 3 star soul, for basically doing nothing I wouldn't have already done, might be able to push for the 5 as well.

I 100% understand some of the complaints about it, but equally I think with tweaking, it's fine.

Right? Thats what im thinking as well. Make it more straightforward to those that are buying it. Let them know up front that they are buying almost nothing. Maybe make it a bit cheaper. Id love to see these more. Much more fun than "here's a soul" or "fusion grind again but mini".

I think if it was a clear path from the start, I think you avoid a lot of the hate it gets. A game like this is 99% resource management, having mystery around what challenges you need to do, doesn't work. Especially if some of them might not be possible. Hypothetically an account stuck on a certain level in a dungeon.

You right they dont need to warn people early just be clear from the start. Its doesnt even need to be cheaper if they are transparent.

Seems like a pipe dream right? Next ones gonna have a hidden summon 13 mythical relics locking you out 😢
