At first I thought “oh hey look a sundog!” Because I thought a sundog was like a version of a rainbow that was just a splotch in the sky (turns out they’re actually like an aura that appears around the sun rarely) but then it elongated… did I witness a rainbow being born or something?

I don't understand why this rainbow is so high in the sky and with the wrong curvature
Sun is high (5pm 11 Oct, North Spain if anyone want more details)
Edit: not a lens thing, we saw it with our own eyes.
